Abstract

PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method by which an optimal color choice for the hair coloration of a human is made possible by the classification of human types according to the overall impression of skin, hair and eye color.

The object is solved by the entirety of the features of claim 1. The gist of the invention is first to determine a person's natural hair color, skin color, and eye color, then to place the person in a matrix field of a color matrix according to the particular natural hair color, skin color, and eye color, the color matrix comprising a plurality of matrix fields which are arranged in two columns representing the qualities "warm" and "cold" and several rows representing a graduated color depth, and finally to select a hair colorant lying in the same column of the color matrix for the coloring of the hair. By the matrix arrangement of the color fields, an assignment of hair colorations to a person is made possible, which avoids the wrong color selection with certainty.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the color matrix comprises three lines which correspond to the natural color depths "light", "medium" and "dark" occurring in humans, as well as a fourth line which corresponds to the artificially created color depth "extra-ordinary".

WAYS FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
