Abstract

An ink cartridge comprising: a container body having a front surface having a first opening extending inward into the ink cartridge along a first line and a second opening extending inward into the ink cartridge along a second line approximately parallel to the first line, and a bottom surface, the bottom surface having a recess, the recess having a bottom and a perimeter wall; and a guide projection disposed within the recess, at least a portion of said guide projection extending from the bottom of the recess toward the bottom surface, wherein, viewed in a direction perpendicular to the front surface, the first and the second lines lie in a plane parallel to at least a portion of the bottom surface and at least a portion of the bottom of the recess is parallel to the plane.
