Definitions
- the illustrated in the figures embodiment of the LED device according to the invention 1 has 81 LEDs 2, which are relatively densely packed in a stable but in both Surface directions stretchable rubber layer 3 are embedded. This is in Figs. 1 and 3 for the spot position of the embodiment of the LED device 1 according to the invention shown.
- the 81 LEDs 2 provide a lamp with approximately circular Periphery, as can be seen from Fig. 3.
- the rubber pad 3 serves as elastic support for the LEDs 2.
- the rubber base 3 with the LEDs 2 embedded therein is clamped in a frame 5.
- This frame 5 also receives a mushroom-shaped punch 4, which of the radiation direction the LEDs 2 side facing away by means of a wing nut 6 against the rubber pad 3 can be pressed (see Fig. 2).
- each LED 2 is approximately 10 °.
- the LEDs 2 are arranged so close together that their individual light cone already very close strongly overlap at the LED device 1 and to a total cone of relatively high light intensity add. This is shown in Fig. 4.
- the radiation angle of the total light cone is in spot position about 10 °.
- the punch 4 by means of the thumbscrew 6 from below (see Fig. 2) against the rubber pad 3, the rubber pad 3 begins to buckle. This leads to to the fact that the LEDs 2 no longer radiate all in the same direction.
- the beam angle of the total light cone increases.
- it is illuminated on a surface unit attributable proportion of the embodiment of the LED device according to the invention 1 emitted light compared with the proportion in spot position less, i. the light intensity decreases.
- the reason for this is that the light cone of each LEDs 2 no longer overlap as much as they do in the spot position.
- Embodiment of the LED device 1 according to the invention reaches its flooding position.
- the flood position the superimposition of the light cone of the individual LEDs 2 is largely eliminated and by a simple, i. non - overlapping, spatial complement of the single LED light cone replaced. This is illustrated schematically in FIG. 5.
- Fig. 7 shows a corresponding comparison the emission angle of the total light cone of the embodiment of the invention LED device 1 in spot position and in flood position.
- LED device acts as an elastic support the rubber base 3.
- the elastic backing is not necessarily made of rubber must exist. Rather, any other elastically deformable material is suitable for this purpose.

elastischer Träger für die LEDs 2.The illustrated in the figures embodiment of the LED device according to the
addieren. Dies ist in Fig. 4 dargestellt. Der Abstrahlwinkel des Gesamtlichtkegels beträgt
in Spotstellung ungefähr 10°.Is the
Now, the
einzelnen LED-Lichtkegel ersetzt. Dies ist in Fig. 5 schematisch verdeutlicht.Once the
Fig. 6 zeigt einen direkten Vergleich von Spotstellung (Überlagerung der einzelnen LED-Lichtkegel, relativ hohe Lichtintensität) und Flutstellung (keine Überlagerung sondern einfache Ergänzung der einzelnen LED-Lichtkegel, relativ niedrige Lichtintensität).6 shows a direct comparison of spot position (superimposition of the individual LED light cones, relatively high light intensity) and flooding (no overlapping but simple Supplement the individual LED light cone, relatively low light intensity).
In Flutstellung schließlich beträgt
Fig. 7 zeigt eine entsprechende Gegenüberstellung
While the radiation angle of the total light cone of the embodiment of the
In the specific embodiment of the invention described above
LED device acts as an elastic support the
