Definitions
- the present invention relates to a tamper-proof packaging material with a Security feature, with the security feature one on the packaging material arranged coded image arrangement, which by overlaying Releases an image or sequence of images with an associated decoder element.
- Counterfeit-proof packaging contain a guarantee of originality, which it to the customer or a specific Circle of people makes it possible to recognize that the product in Produced by the desired producer or a trusted third party company and has been packed.
- Counterfeit-protected items such as products (for example, documents, securities, Consumer goods, spare parts, etc.) or their associated packaging usually so-called security features, which affect the surface of the object are applied.
- Preferred security elements are characterized a human eye variable appearance, which by means of specific measures is achieved.
- security elements known which by changing the viewing angle different Let perceive picture elements and in this way the impression of a cause moving picture.
- So are well-known forgery-proof packaging and products bsp. provided with holograms on their surface, their image motifs change its appearance when the viewing angle is changed. The production However, holograms are associated with a lot of effort.
- security elements which have an applied on the packaging, coded, i. encoded, image include, in which by overlay with a so-called decoder element, i. Decryption element an image encoded in it comes to light.
- the decoder element contains, for example, a number of optical lenses, which are the underlying ones Pixels of the apparent random pattern to the human eye so divert that the picture elements of the apparent random pattern as meaningful Assemble picture.
- the apparent random pattern is on the optics matched the lens elements used.
- the production of such coded Images for decryption with a decoder element containing optical lenses requires complex data processing programs. Furthermore, the production is the necessary for decryption lenticular lenses, which as a rule must be cast and have a high accuracy of fit, technically very expensive.
- decoder elements has the advantage that these delivered separately from the packaging to the end user or a control body can be. They are therefore a kind of key.
- conventional security elements which contain such decoder elements, and which generate moving pictures when they are decrypted, the disadvantage that these are relatively complex and expensive to produce, as already mentioned.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, a packaging material to propose a cost-effective security feature in its manufacture, wherein the security feature is at least part of the surface of the packaging material covering, coded image arrangement and a decoder element for decrypting the coded image arrangement by generating a optical effect includes.
- the security feature should also be characterized by a high Express counterfeit security.
- the image arrangement on the packaging material contains a plurality of coded and interleaved frames, wherein the coded frame an array of strip-shaped, spaced-apart Image elements is which in their orientation and in their distance from each other are matched to the line or bar grid of the decoder element, so that by superimposing the image arrangement with the decoder element and lateral Moving the decoder element over the image arrangement one for the human Eye moving image sequence is generated by depending on the location of the decoder element the coded frames are covered by the line or bar grid or through the window areas between the lines or bars and in combination with the line or bar grid of the decoder element add to perceptible frames.
- the decoder element covers with its lines or bars when overlaying the coded image arrangement from a number of strip-shaped coded frames. However, at least one of the coded frames is in register with the panes between the line or bar grid of the decoder element, so that the visible stripe-shaped picture elements of the at least one coded Single image with the line or bar grid of the decoder element an optically perceivable image, the decoded frame, complement.
- the various individual images preferably differ in terms of their structure from each other, i. with respect to the depicted motif and / or grayscale or the contrast, so that when using the decoder element is a more dynamic Image sequence, i. a moving picture is generated.
- the frames can bsp. arranged side by side to a picture arrangement be.
- the individual images are partially overlaid or completely in a certain offset (offset) to each other.
- the Overlay is such that strip-shaped picture elements of a coded Frame arranged in the spaces of the adjacent coded frame are.
- the decoder element is preferably made of a transparent plastic film.
- the Decoder element is advantageously one independent of said packaging material Object which coded together or separately from the associated one Image arrangement containing packaging is sold.
- the line grid of the decoder element preferably consists of uniform Distance parallel lines or bars, which, preferably Immediately overlap underlying stripe-shaped pixels.
- the spaces between the lines or bars form so-called window areas, through which the underlying strip-shaped picture elements be made visible.
- the said window areas can be the same width have like the lines or bars of the grid.
- the width of the lines or bars of the grid is a multiple of the width of the intermediate window area. So can bsp. the width of the lines or bars is 2 to 20 times, in particular 3- to 10-fold, the width of the intervening window area include. The greater the resolution of the image sequence, i. the denser the frames nested, the bigger this factor is.
- the maximum width extension of the strip-shaped picture elements preferably corresponds the width of the window areas.
- the maximum width extension of the However, picture elements can also be larger than the width of the window areas.
- the coded picture arrangement and the decoder element can thus be superimposed on one another Be agreed that the said optical effect by turning or lateral relative movement the decoder element with respect to the image arrangement occurs.
- the optical effect by one opposite the image arrangement rectilinear, lateral relative movement of the decoder element achieved.
- the effect of a moving image is especially at a uniform Moving the decoder element over the image arrangement achieved.
- the coded image arrangement is preferably such that it is uniform forms ornamental structure.
- the ornament-like image arrangement can bsp. by partially or completely overlaying or interleaving the coded Frames, in particular of numbers, letters, words or characters, achieved become.
- the ornament-like impression can also be made by repeating the individual pictures be amplified by the coded image arrangement on his Longitudinal direction, i. in the direction of movement of the decoder element, repetitive, ornamental pattern results.
- the coded image arrangement is in a preferred embodiment of the invention constructed from a multiple stringing together of a single primitive.
- the basic element can be coded depending on the desired overall length Image arrangement on the packaging material n-fold seamlessly together be ranked.
- the decoded image sequence repeats itself with continuous Move the decoder element according to the number of composite Basic elements.
- the basic element in turn contains the necessary coded individual images.
- the Single images are arranged in the basic element that by joining together the basic elements to a coded image arrangement, one using the decoder element creates seamless sequence of frames. Because the frames are nested in each other, the different frames are in the Basic element not necessarily completely represented. Rather, for example a subarea of certain frames on the left margin and the supplementary, remaining portion of the associated frame on the right edge area be arranged of the primitive.
- the generated by juxtaposition of a repetitive basic element encoded image arrangement may be in the machine direction, i. in the direction of travel of the packaging material, are endlessly printed on the packaging material.
- the coded image arrangement for example by means of a cost-effective Scattering pressure applied, in which laying down the Print position only two degrees of freedom must be specified.
- image arrangement can also take place by means of register printing, in which four degrees of freedom are required, and in which the printed image bsp. with the Position of blisters can be synchronized.
- the frames can be letters, numbers, words or combinations thereof as well as characters or pictures.
- the individual images are encoded and assembled into an image arrangement that these using the decoder element as one about the shift direction of the decoder element wandering representation of a letter, word, number, character or image sequence appear.
- the representation generated by the decoder element can also be made a moving, but constantly repeating sequence of letters, words, Be numbers, signs or pictures. Combinations of the aforementioned elements are also possible.
- the moving or migrating letters, numbers, word or string be subject to changing shades.
- the changing shade can be expressed by changing the gray scale values.
- the image arrangement is preferably a black-and-white representation, i. the strip-shaped Pixels are preferably black, while the spaces between the picture elements are white. However, the spaces between them can also be the Assume the background color of the packaging material.
- the line or bar grid The decoder element is expediently also black in this case.
- coded image arrangement or the picture elements can also be colored and optionally by targeted coloring the optical effect by additional Complement color effects.
- the line or bar grid of the decoder element and the strip-shaped ones Image elements of the coded individual images advantageously always have the same color on. Furthermore, the spaces between the picture elements and the advantageous at the top and bottom of the strip-shaped image elements areas the same color.
- means may be provided which show the orientation and guiding the decoder element over the encoded image array serve and thus a precise guidance of the decoder element on the image arrangement allow on the packaging material and thus the optimal reproduction of the optical effect.
- the security feature is expediently by means of a data processing device generated using appropriate software.
- the image data For this purpose, for the purpose of preparation and further processing preferably on a Screen.
- uncoded frames are present in electronic form generated according to the specification.
- the individual images can be generated by means of a graphics program be created electronically or by means of an optical scanner of read an analogue template, digitized and processed into an electronic form become. Further image processing steps can follow this procedure.
- the line or bar grid of the associated decoder element also becomes created by means of data processing device in electronic form.
- the frames are in a further step based on the decoder bar raster encoded, i. in strip-shaped, spaced apart pixels transferred. This is preferably done by deleting or hiding also stripe-shaped intermediate areas between the remaining Picture elements of the original frame.
- the encoding of the frame is done for example by overlaying the frame with a so-called mask, whereby those picture parts, which visible should be masked in the sense understanding of image processing.
- the mask is a line or bar grid corresponding to the decoder element.
- the to the generation the decrypted image unnecessary picture elements of the original image are hidden below. In this way, a coded Single image of parallel spaced and spaced strip-shaped Generated picture elements.
- the creation of the coded frame can manually on a screen or in the background by a self-employed Data processing program according to instructions.
- the data processing program calculates after entering certain Boundary conditions based on the electronic decoder bar raster the to be removed or hidden intermediate areas of the Frame, and performs the coding of the frame accordingly.
- the single images can this partially or completely in a certain offset (offset) to each other superimpose, so that strip-shaped picture elements of a single image in intervene the spaces of the adjacent frame.
- the method includes to create the coded frames a correction that the properties the printing method by which the coded image arrangement and the Decoder element can be applied to the respective substrates, the properties the printing inks used as well as the characteristics of the printable Substrates, such as paper, coated paper or plastics, considered. This is a correction of the dot or line increase in Printing process.
- the line or bar grid of the decoder element and the coded image arrangement on various substrates, if necessary printed using various printing methods. So is bsp. the line or Bar grid of the decoder element applied to a transparent plastic film, while the encoded image arrangement may be on a repackaging is printed from a cardboard material.
- the printing of the coded image arrangement on the packaging material happens preferably by means of a gravure printing method, wherein the correction of the Point or line growth after taking into account the relevant parameters Initial values for calculating the dimension of the engraving of the printing cylinder or the said dimensions itself provides.
- the dimensions of the engraving i. in particular the width and depth of the ink receiving depressions are designed so that the printing the desired width of the strip-shaped Picture elements or the lines of the decoder element.

- the pharmaceutical products can bsp. as tablets, dragees, powders, pastes or liquids are present.
- the associated packaging can bsp. Blister packs for tablets and ampoules, bottles, bags or tubes be.
- the inventive security feature using a decoder element has the advantage that the applied on the packaging ornamental Image arrangement for a non-initiated, external person, ex. an unsuspecting counterfeiter not directly recognizable as a security feature, but rather perceived as an ornamental pattern becomes. Furthermore, the creation of the security feature and the application of the Security feature on the packaging material cost. Nevertheless achieved one with the generation of moving images when decoding the image arrangement a high quality and extremely appealing security feature.
- the security against counterfeiting is achieved in that the coded individual images or the decoder elements are generated with high print resolution. This makes it difficult scanning the coded image arrangement as well as the decoder element using devices with insufficient image resolution. Furthermore, the counterfeiter is forced to the security feature to print on high quality printing equipment, thereby the effort increases, and the counterfeiting becomes uninteresting.
- FIG. 1b shows an encoded image arrangement 2 of a plurality of interlocking, encoded frames, wherein strip-shaped picture elements 3 of the various Frames are nested inside each other.
- the coded image arrangement receives an ornament-like appearance.
- the representation underlying the individual images is not recognizable but only when using a decoder element. 4
