Abstract

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Trocknung von entzündlichem Trocknungsgut in einem Trockner (3), bei dem ein Trocknungsgas, vorzugsweise Trocknungsluft, mithilfe einer Heizeinrichtung (9) erhitzt und dem Trockner (3) zugeführt wird, wobei das Trocknungsgas nach Verlassen des Trockners (3) in eine Kühleinrichtung (21), in dem das Trocknungsgas in Wärmeaustausch mit einem Kühlmedium, vorzugsweise Kühlwasser, steht, eingeleitet und über einen geschlossenen Leitungskreislauf (34, 14, 19, 28) in die Heizeinrichtung (9) rückgeführt wird. Das Kühlmedium in der Kühleinrichtung (21) durchläuft hierbei einen geschlossenen Kreislauf, wobei eine Regelung der Temperatur des Kühlmediums ab einer Temperatur des Trocknungsgases von etwa 80°C erfolgt.
