Abstract

Die Anpassungsfähigkeit eines Hörgerätesystems (1, 20) an schwierige Hörumgebungen soll verbessert werden. Hierzu sieht die Erfindung ein Hörgerätesystem (1, 20) mit einem Hörgerät (20) und einer externen Prozessoreinheit (1) vor, wobei die externe Prozessoreinheit (1) einer bestimmten Hörumgebung fest zugeordnet ist. Die externe Prozessoreinheit (1) ist für den lang andauernden Verbleib in der jeweiligen Hörumgebung ausgebildet und auch die Signalverarbeitung eines akustischen Eingangssignals in der externen Prozessoreinheit (1) ist speziell an die jeweilige Hörumgebung angepasst. Vorzugsweise besteht eine drahtlose Signalübertragung zwischen dem Hörgerät (20) und der externen Prozessoreinheit (1).
