Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a non-return system for ink supply system. It has applications in inkjet printing devices. The invention also covers a cartridge for implementation in said system.
We know industrial printing devices that are implemented on manufacturing or labeling lines. These devices generally use one or more heads inkjet printing which have the advantage of not require contact with the article on which the printing is to be can also be ordered from a relatively high frequency. These devices allow work at a significant rate on a chain must have high reliability and long service life operation without intervention because any printing problem can cause the loss of a significant number very quickly of articles and / or blocking of the chain and therefore a loss of substantial production.
As a result, the print heads are supplied with ink by means of tanks which are themselves supplied by relatively large cartridges. Because of these volumes, the tank and the cartridges are offset from the head and a hose allows the transfer of ink between the tank and head.
If such a provision provides autonomy important, it has the disadvantage of requiring purges regular due to the length of the ink circuits. We dispose so for this purpose a means of overpressure, a pear or a syringe, intended to propel ink from the reservoir to the head. In conventional systems, when bleeding, the ink is also propelled towards the head, which is the purpose of the operation, that, in return, to the cartridge. Now this return propulsion is of no use and may even be unfavorable in case air is sent into the bottle. The usual procedure is therefore to remove the cartridge and close the tank with an airtight cap, proceed to purge by action on the overpressure means, then put back in place the cartridge. Such manipulation is restrictive and may be source of soiling and / or ink loss. It is therefore desirable to have means which limit manipulations during the purge.
The present invention therefore relates to a non-return system for ink supply circuit of at least one head inkjet printing, the circuit comprising a cartridge ink with a body containing the ink supplying a reservoir, the the print head being connected to the tank by a hose, a vent purge being carried out in the tank, the vent receiving a pear or a syringe intended to produce an overpressure in the reservoir to propel the ink toward the print head when a purge operation.
According to the invention, the supply circuit comprises between said vent and the cartridge body a valve controlled by at least a movable control rod arranged in the tank, the valve closing the supply circuit in a closed position and leaving the power circuit open in one position opening, the valve being in its closed position when the purge operation and being in its open position when ink supply.

The system of the present invention has the advantage of can be purged without the need to remove the cartridge of the tank. In a first main embodiment, we put using a single valve disposed at the cartridge outlet, said disc type cartridge valve being controlled in non-return mode by a movable control rod in translation disposed in the tank. In a second main embodiment, a second a butterfly type valve is also arranged in the tank and said tank valve is controlled in non-return mode by a rod of mobile control in rotation.
Finally, it is also envisaged that a single valve is put in works in the tank, the cartridge then comprising no valve. We can for example consider this solution in the case where a seal is placed on the orifice of the cartridge and that the cover is automatically peeled off or torn when put on in place of the cartridge on tank by a finger placed in the tank and directed towards the opening of the cartridge. However, this last possibility has the disadvantage of less good control ink throughput compared to applications where the cartridge has a valve.
The invention also has the advantage of being able to allow a possible adjustment of the ink flow by controlling the opening one or more valves implemented according to the embodiment main.
Finally, the presence of a valve at the cartridge outlet limits the risk of overturning and soiling when handling said cartridge, said valve not being opened and / or controlled by opening / closing only when said cartridge is fixed to the tank.
In Figure 1, the
clapet 63 pour fermer le bec 600.The cartridge also includes a
impossible.Figures 3 and 4 are detailed examples of construction
of
Figure 5, an axial view from the side of the
Figure 6.
commande 73 solidaire dudit papillon.

On envisage
cartouche. The first chamber of the tank is related to the
The second bedroom has at least one opening or
purge vent for the overpressure means, bulb or syringe, and
which normally ensures ventilation to balance the ink
between the tank and the head (s). The second bedroom has
in addition to a
In this example where the non-return valve ordered is
placed in the tank between the two chambers, the valve
cartridge is kept open when the cartridge is attached to the
reservoir by a fixed
In an embodiment using the valve cartridge for the non-return valve, the control rod of the head valve is a movable finger.
Figure 9 is an overview of a device

Parts of the cartridge, the tank and the head box printing are obtained by molding plastics. The arms can be metallic or plastic. Finally, the valves used may be of different types from those indicated, without departing from the scope of the invention, the cartridge valve can implement a tilting disc as well as the tank valve. Likewise the tank valve can set operates a spring means and the control rod acting against said means.
