Abstract

The method for joining carpet and fixing it in position uses a strip of material with a hooked pile (7) which is fixed by a layer of adhesive (6) to the back of the carpet. A second hooked pile fastener (3) fixed to the floor (5) cooperates with the first to hold the carpet down.
