  5. Edge-processing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each module (11, 11'; 25) is provided with stop faces (22) for the attachment of vertical guides (23) for supports belonging to the processing devices (2, 3, 4).
  6. Edge-processing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one of the modules (11, 11') is constructed as a self-contained framework in the form of an enveloping-body structure.
  7. Edge-processing machine according to claim 6,
    characterised in that the module (11, 11') has stop faces (24) for the attachment of a top pressure system (9).
  8. Edge-processing machine according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that one of the modules (25) is constructed merely as a prolongation of the substructure.
  9. Edge-processing machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each module (11, 11'; 25) is constructed, by the hollow-body method of construction, as a welded structure.
  10. Edge-processing machine according to claim 9,
    characterised in that each module (11, 11'; 25) consists of hollow profiles.
  11. Edge-processing machine according to claim 10,
    characterised in that supply lines for electrics, pneumatics or the like are laid in the hollow profiles.
