Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method and a appropriate system for monitoring a user's posture on a training device to ensure that the User can achieve the desired training effect.
On exercise equipment such as B. fitness or strength equipment, certain movements must be carried out in a targeted manner in order to to achieve the desired training effect. Leads the respective Users move differently or in the wrong posture is not just the desired training effect at risk, but it can be overstressed by Joints, tendons, ligaments or muscles even serious Damage occurs.
To fix this problem, users of exercise equipment by the staff of the fitness studio of the respective training device. However, this is very time and personnel consuming. Furthermore, this is does not guarantee that the user will actually use the respective Do the exercise correctly. It is also known the aforementioned wrong movements on the training equipment thereby avoiding the respective movement through appropriate mechanical coupled to the training device Constructions is carried out very precisely. This mechanical Constructions are constructed, for example, that in extreme cases all movements that are not in the desired Direction of movement are prevented. For this purpose, however, mechanical constructions are very complex required.
It is also known from EP 0 700 694 A1, a training device to be provided with a sensor which is a controlled and dosed training and a diagnosis of skills of the human musculoskeletal system by the Output data from the sensor evaluated using a computer be the user of the training device simultaneously with the current movement one from the output signals of the Sensor derived size displays.
From WO 94/26359 A1 it is known the movement of a joint in the course of serving the rehabilitation, independently gymnastic exercises taking place from a training device record and evaluate a patient, by means of a sensor attached to the patient, whereby only the number and extent of movements registered become.
It is also independent of a training device Known from DE 195 22 958 A1, the body's own physical values of a subject via sensors and the corresponding Output signals in perceptible by the test subject Convert music.
It is also known from DE 39 33 999 A1, a treadmill to the physical stress of a subject regarding to control the speed of the belt by the position of a subject on the treadmill using sensors is recorded and depending on the position of the subject on the Treadmill increases or decreases the speed of the treadmill becomes.
The present invention is therefore based on the object propose a procedure and a corresponding system, with the help of which it is reliable in a relatively simple manner the posture of the user during a training exercise can be monitored on a training device to prevent damage due to excessive stress on joints, tendons, ligaments or to prevent muscles and the desired training effect to be able to achieve.
This object is achieved according to the present invention by a
Method with the features of claim 1 or a system

The solution according to the invention is the one described above mechanical movement guidance of the user through a "virtual Motion control ". With the help of sensors the movement of the user while using the training device monitored and evaluated in order to find a faulty one Posture of the user while using the training device to be able to determine. For this purpose, in addition to the sensors provided on the user's body additional sensors at certain points of the corresponding Exercise devices are attached, each kinematic Characteristic values, e.g. a position, a speed or an acceleration, grasp. In particular, the sensors for example in clothing, tapes or belt systems be integrated so that the sensors are easy on the body of the user can be attached.
To evaluate the recorded kinematic parameters is a Evaluation unit, e.g. a portable calculator or an am Training unit attached central unit, which provided the measured data recorded by the sensors processed and at Detection of a faulty movement or faulty posture the user issues a corresponding feedback. This feedback can be visual or acoustic, for example respectively.
In addition, it is also possible to give the user a direct Incorrect posture by transmitting a corresponding tactile perceptible Signals, e.g. in the form of a pressure pulse or a vibration to communicate. It is also conceivable that Feedback in the form of a mechanical intervention in the To implement training device, so that for example an incorrect posture of the user the training device is braked or blocked.
The evaluation unit can have a memory for storing Document user training. Furthermore is possible that the system also functions as a training controller takes over so that the user for training a specific exercise or exercise device a certain number of exercises is prescribed.
The advantage of the present invention is that the for monitoring the posture of the user on the training device used sensors small, easy to carry and is cheap. There is no need for complex mechanical constructions. This means both a cost advantage and one for the user more comfortable use of the training device. In addition, using the present invention even training sessions that are insufficient are controlled have mechanical guidance, such as this is the case with wire rope hoists. With the help of the "virtual In principle, motion control "can be any complex Trajectories in space are monitored, e.g. combined Rotational and longitudinal movements, which are usually mechanical Designs would quickly reach their limits. Overall, avoidance can be avoided with the help of the present invention of harmful movements on exercise equipment be improved so that consequential damage is reduced and a better training effect can be achieved.
die Bewegung des Rudersitzes 12 zu überwachen, usw..There are several sensors on the body of the person or user
1 attached, each with a specific kinematic
Characteristic value during the execution of the corresponding
Record training exercise. The sensors 1 can be advantageous
for example in clothing, tapes or belt systems
to get integrated. The example shown in Figure 1 is
one of these belt systems 8 shown, being on the back of the
User of one of these sensors 1 integrated into the belt 8
is. Such belt systems, in particular similar to mountaineering belts
can be designed by the user
easy to put on and hinder the user
the execution of the training exercise not or only marginally.
In addition, some of these sensors are also conceivable
1 to be attached to certain points of the training device 9,
to make movements while performing the
Monitor training exercise on training device 9. So is
for example possible with the help of a corresponding sensor
monitor the movement of the
In general, sensors can be used as sensors 1, the arbitrary kinematic parameters, such as B. Position, Speed or acceleration values. Such sensors are generally known, for example as sensors 3D ultrasound markers with antenna, Accelerometers, protractors, flexion sensors, Stretch sensors or the like can be used.
To evaluate the measurement data recorded by sensors 1 an evaluation unit 2 is provided. Advantageously is it a portable computer or one on the training device 9 attached central unit to the To minimize space requirements for the system according to the invention.
The evaluation unit 2 receives those recorded by the sensors 1
Koordinaten bestimmter Raumpunkte erfolgt.
umzuwandeln. So ist beispielsweise denkbar,
durch die kinematische Transformation der Einrichtung 5 aus
dem relativen Winkel bestimmter Sensoren 1 bzw. entsprechender
Segmente eine Aussage über die maximale Krümmung
der Wirbelsäule des Benutzers zu erzielen. For this purpose, the evaluation unit 2 first comprises one
Filter device 4, which - if necessary - preprocessing
performs the
The evaluation unit 2 also contains the central one
Element a
The evaluation unit 2 or its
gespeichert. Die in dem Speicher 7 gespeicherten Informationen
sind insbesondere für eine Therapiekontrolle im Laufe
einer Rehabilitation des jeweiligen Benutzers sinnvoll und
werden daher vorteilhafterweise an den jeweiligen Therapeuten
übermittelt. Zudem können die in dem Speicher 7 gespeicherten
Informationen zur Qualitätssicherung ausgewertet werden. The evaluation unit 2 shown in Figure 1 also includes a
Memory 7, which is used to document the training process on
Training device 9 is provided. That means being in memory 7
those output by the
z. B. die durchzuführende Anzahl von Trainingsübungen, die
augenblickliche Anzahl von Trainingsübungen, Geschwindigkeitsinformationen,
Leistungsinformationen, Trainingszeitinformationen
usw., über die Anzeige 3 mitteilt. Finally, the system shown in Figure 1 is also with the
Function of a training control equipped. To this
Purpose includes the evaluation unit 2 a
The
From the above description, it can be seen that the present Invention an easy and cheap to implement Provides the opportunity to change the posture of the user or the movements he performs during use to be able to effectively monitor a training device 9. The posture of the user can thus also be more complicated Training exercises or movements reliably be assessed. Avoiding harmful movements and consequential damage can be significantly improved and one better training effect is possible.
