Abstract

The system has a first device for determining vehicle (2) position data, a second device for computing the anticipated residual travel time to the arrival of the vehicle at the stop (5) based on the position data and the stop's co-ordinates and communications devices for communications from the first to the second device and from the second device to a stop position display (4), which is controlled by the second communications device to visually display the waiting time
