Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Frankiermaschine mit einer elektrothermischen Druckvorrichtung, mit der Wertzeichen- und/oder Bilddrucke auf an ihr mit vorbestimmter Geschwindigkeit vorbeigeführtes Postgut durch bildmäßig verteilte Übertragung von Farbpartikeln von einem Trägerband (114) aufgedruckt werden, das entsprechend der bildmäßigen Verteilung mittels eines Thermodruckkopfes (110) erhitzt und dabei an der Druckvorrichtung vorbeigeführt wird, wobei dem Thermodruckkopf (110) ein Gegendruckelement (116) gegenübersteht. Als Gegendruckelement ist eine in senkrechter Richtung zur Druckfläche bewegliche Gegendruckwalze (116) vorgesehen, die auf einer parallel zur Druckleiste (112) des Thermodruckkopfes (110) angeordneten Welle (130) nachgiebig so gelagert ist, daß ihre Berührungsfläche mit dem Postgut in einer die Druckleiste (112) und die Welle (130) enthaltenden Ebene unterschiedliche Winkel zur Druckleiste (112) einnehmen kann.
