Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cutter for one Document shredder, especially with strip cut and a process for its manufacture.
Such document shredders, including all devices for cutting destruction of flat material, in particular Paper, foils, etc. are usually understood to work with two interacting cutting rollers. These have one another spaced cutting disks and engage each other in the Clearances between the cutting discs, so that at their interacting cutting edges a kind of silhouette arises. If the peripheral surface is circular and essentially is continuous, then a number of narrow stripes. Such cutting units are very robust and inexpensive to manufacture.
However, there are occasional problems with very smooth ones cutting materials that are not even in the Pull in the cutting gap. For this reason it is proposed the peripheral surface of the cutting discs knurled, i.e. an imprint of very narrow, running in the axial direction of the cutting roller Grooves or corrugations. However, there are noise problems here, when the cutting units are running. Applicant's DE-A-1 808 155 strikes a coarse-grained roughening in the form of axial Grinding marks. The resulting roughening may they are also granular in their type and effect knurling and does not solve the noise problems.
It should also be mentioned that there are also cutting units where the otherwise circular peripheral surface of the cutting disks is interrupted by grooves, usually at an angle to the cutting roller axis, i.e. run helically. By these grooves, these cutters create a particle cut, i.e. the strips are torn apart into individual particles. Through these grooves, which are usually also under one Angles with respect to the radial are incurred on the cutting disc teeth, which take away the documents cause so that the retraction is usually unproblematic.
The object of the invention is to provide a cutting device, in particular the problem of excessive noise is fixed.
This object is achieved by claims 1 and 9 solved. Because of the radiation treatment irregular roughening of the surface of the cutting disc with regard to taking or moving in the documents has a comparable, if not better, effect than with a knurling. However, it was found that the any noise problems that have occurred are completely eliminated. This can be due to the fact that the special irregular roughening does not promote the excitation of even vibrations, but rather suppressed.
In the method according to the invention, the blasting can Sandblasting or shot peening are carried out, preferably on the drum-shaped cutting roller, before the ring grooves separating the cutting disks are inserted are. But there are also other beam processing methods possible, for example laser beam processing, the one causes such irregular roughening. The peripheral area can be as a continuous cylindrical surface or in cross section V-shaped.
The invention is also applicable to cutting units with so-called torsion cut. With these each cutting disc has only one circumferential cutting edge, which with an in the opposite direction of the cutting edge Counter roller interacts. The cutting rollers are there resiliently pressed against each other, so that a real silhouette arises. These cutting discs also have one narrow, approximately cylindrical peripheral surface, the roughening promotes transport and avoids vibrations.

Insofern
Abständen der Erhebungen oder Senken, z.B. 0,3 bis 2 mm.It has been found that the irregular described

In the emerging between the cutting rollers of FIG. 1

Die in Fig. 3 dargestellten Schneidwalzen 12 haben Schneidscheiben
13, die jeweils nur eine umlaufende Schneidkante 16
aufweisen.
Rückenflanke 22 an.

The cutting
This also creates a silhouette, but it does makes only one cut per cutting disc, so that here Strip width of the generated material strip of width corresponds to a cutting disc division, while at 1 per cutting disc division two Stripes appear.
Due to the cutting disc geometry and the one-sided Paper cutting creates a slightly helical shape rotating strip, which is why this cutting unit also as "Torsion cutting unit" is called.
14 etc. vorgenommen. Here, too, the roughening 20 brings about a substantial improvement

Fig. 4 zeigt in sehr starker Vergrößerung den Schneidbereich
Geräusch und Schwingungsverhalten in Kauf nehmen zu müssen.4 shows the cutting area in a very large enlargement
