Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a shower head for a hand and / or Stationary shower with a water supply connectable, forming at least one water chamber Housing and a bottom part, the bottom part at least on an outer jacket area made of elastic Material produced ring element, which a variety of grooves on the outer circumference for production of shower jets, the ring element with at least part of its outer jacket on one Location hole is present.
Such a shower head is for example from the U.S. Patent 3,826,429 is known. With shower heads there may be limescale deposits in the area of the shower jet Grooves or openings come that the Affect shower jet formation. These limescale deposits or lime incrustations in the grooves or openings are mainly caused by the fact that the Drops of water adhering to an opening dries up when the shower is not in use. The Lime crystals are deposited at the exit end the opening or groove and harden, depending on Drying time, more or less strong. Through a frequent repetition of this drying process, such as it occurs on the shower head after every shower, it can disturbances in the formation of the spray jet or also for a complete closure of the grooves or openings lead to the generation of the individual shower jets. Although with the shower head according to the US patent 3,826,429 the ring element on the rigid Base part made of one material rubber-elastic material is made, it can problematic here are the unwanted and disruptive Remove scale deposits.
bildenden Verkrustungen relativ leicht vom Brausebenutzer
entfernt werden können. The invention is therefore based on the object
specified in the preamble of
This object is achieved in that the ring element with a collar downstream over the protrudes as a base plate acting so that by wiping or flexing the collar of lime deposits are removable in the grooves.
Starrheit aufzuweisen - entsprechend dickwandig ausgebildet
Further refinements of the invention are specified in
With the proposed measures, removal of the limescale deposits which occur essentially at the outlet end of the grooves acting as jet formers is made possible with simple means, since drying of the shower water is only possible to a considerable extent in the area of the ambient air. The ring element according to the invention can be arranged both on a fixed base part arranged in the housing of the shower head and on a base part which can be moved axially to the housing of the shower head, for example in order to change the spray pattern of the shower head and / or to change the cross section of the individual shower jets, so that, for example, shower jets of different hardness can be generated.
The bore part of the shower head which interacts with the ring element can also be lined with a rubber-elastic material.
The base part can also be made entirely of a rubber-elastic material, in which case the supporting area of the base part - in order to have the required rigidity - is correspondingly thick-walled and / or support bodies made of rigid material, such as metal, are provided (vulcanized) in the base part ,

For the sake of simplicity, the exemplary embodiments the same or corresponding elements in the drawing provided with the same reference numerals.
In the embodiment shown in Figure 1
a shower head of a stationary shower is shown. The
Shower head is essentially a
The
During the showering process, the shower water reaches the
When the
In those with a relatively
