Thus the width (BV) of this forward side is less than that of the backward one (3). The corner recesses lie in the direction of the convex side of the grain (7) of the board. The angle ( alpha ) enclosed by the corner recess is preferably between 90 degrees and 110 degrees . The depth of the corner recess into the board's width is between 3mm and 25mm. The thickness (D) of the board is between 18mm and 40mm. The width of the board is between 80mm and 200mm and its length between 1m and 6.5m. The board is made of coniferous wood, particularly spruce, pine, larch or Douglas fir.

Description

The present invention relates to a board, in particular a side board, for example for cladding ceilings and walls.

The cladding of ceilings or walls with boards is known. Conventionally, the walls to be shuttered are provided with a slatted frame and the boards are attached to this. The boards used here often have connecting elements, for example, a groove on one of their narrow sides and a tongue on the other narrow side. The boards can thus be pushed into one another and ensure largely seamless formwork. The processing of tongue and groove boards, however, requires a high accuracy of fit of the connecting elements, so that twisted or bent boards can not be fitted or only with difficulty. In addition, the fitting requires precise manual work, which is particularly problematic under adverse environmental conditions, such as cold.

The present invention is therefore based on the technical problem of providing boards that overcome the aforementioned disadvantages, in particular are simple and inexpensive to produce, are stable when fitted, and ensure complete formwork.

The technical problem underlying the invention is solved by providing a board with the features of the main claim. In particular, the invention provides a board with a front, a back and two end faces and two narrow sides, the narrow sides each having a connection shape for a composite installation that extends over the entire length of the board, and wherein the connection shape is a corner recess between the narrow side and Front is designed so that the width of the front is less than that of the back.

In the context of the present invention, narrow sides are understood to mean the sides of an elongated board which limit the width, while the end faces limit the length of the board. In the context of the present invention, the front of a board is understood to mean the side that is reduced in width by the corner recesses emanating from the narrow sides. No such corner recesses are formed between the narrow sides and the back. A connection formation for a composite installation is to be understood as the design of the board, which is a stable and gapless arrangement the boards enable each other to form a wood composite.

The board according to the invention thus has on both narrow sides on the same board side, that is to say the front side, in each case a corner recess which extends over the entire length of the board. Such boards can be produced without problems, for example by means of circular saw technology, in one or more work steps, which has proven to be particularly advantageous compared to the production of tongue and groove boards. The boards according to the invention are mutually fitted, that is, the front of a board lies in one plane with the backs of the adjacent boards and vice versa, so that the board areas formed on the basis of the corner recesses overlap and form overlapping surfaces which press against one another and the surface to be boarded cover. Unlike conventional, tongue and groove boards, there can be no fitting problems, since the recesses always match.

As is known, the drying of boards leads to a shrinkage behavior, which is particularly undesirable in conventional boards when the boards have already been fitted. In such a case, translucent fading distances occur. In contrast, the boards according to the invention have the advantage that the natural shrinkage behavior occurring during the drying process becomes particularly stable and impermeable Connection of the boards leads. During the drying process, especially when using boards made of side products, the boards bend against the radius of curvature of the annual rings. With an appropriate arrangement of the recesses, that is, particularly preferably in the direction of the convex side of the grain, i.e. the annual rings, the overlapping surfaces created by the corner recesses press against one another, since the individual, mutually laid boards bend in a bowl-shaped manner, alternately bending in opposite directions. Accordingly, boards can be processed in a freshly sawn state in a particularly advantageous manner, since the boards have a particularly pronounced shrinkage behavior and thus ensure a correspondingly good seal of the wood composite. The elimination of the costly and time-consuming drying process, which is necessary, for example, with tongue and groove boards, represents a further, particularly advantageous property of the invention. The invention is therefore also characterized in that, despite a drying process taking place in the fitted state and the associated, natural shrinkage behavior of the wood in the boards according to the invention no translucent shrinkage intervals occur, but rather a particularly stable and gapless seal is guaranteed.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.

In a preferred embodiment it is accordingly provided that the board according to the invention is designed as a side board, that is to say it comes from the side regions of a tree trunk and accordingly has annual rings lying there. Side boards are characterized by a particularly large shrinkage during the drying process, so that the formwork thus produced covers the surface to be formulated particularly tightly. Due to the shrinkage behavior of the side goods (keying), the overlapping areas of the boards are pressed together particularly firmly. Of course, however, the boards according to the invention can also be made from prismatic goods or plywood.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the angle α enclosed by the corner recess is 90 ° to 179 °, preferably 90 ° to 110 °, particularly preferably 90 °, between the sides delimiting the corner recess. The depth of the corner recess in the board thickness can therefore be the same across the depth of the corner recess in the board width (angle α equals 90 °) or continuously from the corner of the recess, in this case, the deepest point of the recess in the board width increase, but at the lowest point of the recess in the board width, that is, the corner of the corner recess, the depth of the recess in the board thickness must be 50% of the board thickness. The geometry and dimensions of the two corner recesses of a board are preferably identical since otherwise, accuracy of fit when the boards are used as intended is only guaranteed if the boards are fitted to one another with the appropriate, precise orientation of their different narrow sides. In such a case, which also belongs to the invention, the boards cannot simply be fitted alternately into one another, but instead may have to be rotated once.

In a further, particularly preferred embodiment, the invention relates to a board according to the invention, in which the depth of the corner recess in the board width is 3 mm to 25 mm (based on the board width on the back). The invention provides a further embodiment of one of the boards mentioned, the thickness of the board being 18 mm to 40 mm. The depth of the recess in the board thickness is accordingly preferably 9 mm to 20 mm. Also preferred according to the invention are boards whose width (rear) is 80 mm to 200 mm and / or whose length is 1 m to 6.5 m.

In a particularly preferred manner, the boards according to the invention are made from softwood and hardwood, in particular from spruce, fir, pine, larch or Douglas fir.

The corner recesses of the boards according to the invention are preferably produced by milling. According to the invention it can be provided that the boards mentioned are manufactured by means of circular saw technology. Boards made in this way point the advantage that there is no need for planing, since the boards produced by circular saw technology have a sufficiently calibrated surface. In addition, no branches are knocked out and there are no knotholes, since there is no planing.

Finally, the invention also relates to wood composites which contain at least one, but preferably at least two, of the boards according to the invention, for example wall or ceiling cladding.

Die mit den erfindungsgemäßen Brettern hergestellten Holzverbunde weisen demgemäß auf jeweils einer Seite alternierend Vorder- 2 und Rückseiten 3 der Bretter auf.FIG. 2 shows two boards according to the invention from FIG. 1 fitted into one another. The boards 1 are mutually fitted into one another, that is to say in an alternating arrangement of the front and rear sides, so that the narrow side regions 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 adjoin one another. The wood composites produced with the boards according to the invention accordingly have alternating front and rear sides 3 of the boards on one side in each case.

Die Figur 3 zeigt eine andere, ebenfalls bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung, in der der Winkel α zwischen den Schmalseitenbereichen 6.1 und 6.2 etwa 100° beträgt.FIG. 3 shows another, likewise preferred embodiment of the invention, in which the angle α between the narrow side areas 6.1 and 6.2 is approximately 100 °.

Die Figur 4 zeigt zwei ineinander eingepaßte Bretter der Figur 3.FIG. 4 shows two boards of FIG. 3 fitted into one another.

Of course, other than the geometries of the connection shapes shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 are also possible.

Erfindungswesentlich ist, daß an der Ecke 6.4 der Eckausnehmung 5 die Brettdicke 50 % der Gesamtbrettdicke beträgt und die Abmessung und Geometrie der Verbindungsausformungen ein wechselseitiges, paßgenaues Anordnen der erfindungsgemäßen Bretter ermöglicht.FIG. 5 shows, for example, a further embodiment of the invention, according to which the narrow side areas 6.1 and 6.3 do not run perpendicular to the front or back of the board, but rather both run at an identical angle β (less than 90 °) to the front or back. The narrow side area 6.2 can run parallel or inclined to the front or back of the board. It is essential to the invention that at the corner 6.4 of the corner recess 5 the board thickness is 50% of the total board thickness and the dimension and geometry of the connection formations enables a mutual, precisely fitting arrangement of the boards according to the invention.

Die Figur 6 zeigt zwei ineinander eingepaßte Bretter der Figur 5.FIG. 6 shows two boards of FIG. 5 fitted into one another.

When formwork with the boards according to the invention, the first board is measured and fastened at an angle. All other boards are simply inserted and fastened without using a template and without measuring. Due to the shrinkage process during the drying process, the left board shown in FIGS. 2, 4 and 6 bends in such a way that the convex side of the curved (bowl) board faces the convex side of the grain. The right board shown in FIGS. 2, 4 and 6 bends in the opposite orientation due to the shrinkage behavior, so that a particularly firm connection between the boards is achieved. The arrows in FIGS. 2, 4 and 6 indicate the orientation of the pressure of the connection formations on one another caused by the shrinkage behavior.
