Abstract

Vorrichtung zum Bedrucken eines auf einer Kante stehenden Druckträgers, insbesondere eines Briefes in Frankier- und/oder Adressiermaschinen.Device for printing a print carrier standing on an edge, in particular a letter in franking and / or addressing machines.

Angestrebt werden eine verbesserte Drucktechnik und ein vereinfachter Brieftransport.
Aufgabengemäß sollen bei einfacher Bauweise eine präzise Führung des Druckträgers und ein einwandfreies Druckbild gewährleistet sein.
Ausgegangen wird von einer Vorrichtung mit

  • einer gegenüber der Vertikalen geneigten Führungsplatte 2 zur gleitbaren Anlage des Druckträgers 3, die einen ausgenommenen Bereich für eine Druckeinrichtung aufweist,
  • einem umlaufenden Transportband 1 zum Aufbringen einer Vorschubkraft auf den Druckträger 3 entlang der Führungsplatte 2.
Erfindungsgemäß hat die Vorrichtung folgende Merkmale:
  • Die Druckeinrichtung ist eine Tintendruckeinrichtung mit mindestens einem Tintendruckkopf 4.
  • Der ausgenommene Bereich weist mindestens eine Ausnehmung 21, 22 auf und der in Transportrichtung nachfolgende Bereich 25, der Führungsplatte 2 ist gegenüber der Anlageebene für den Druckträger 3 so weit zurückversetzt, daß letzterer hier freiliegt. Auf diese Weise werden eine genügend lange Eindringzeit für die Tinte erreicht und ein Verschmieren des Druckbildes verhindert.
  • An dem Transportband 1 sind Andruckelemente 12 mit einer Andruckplatte 1211 befestigt, die auf die Führungsplatte 2 zu und von dieser weg federnd bewegbar ist und den Druckträger 3 gegen dieselbe drückt sowie mittels eines an derselben befestigten Reibbelages 122 mitnimmt. Durch die federnde Lagerung der Andruckplatte 1211 wird eine kontinuierlich Anpassung an unterschiedliche Dicken des Druckträgers 3 erreicht.
Aufgrund der unmittelbaren Kopplung der Andruckelemente 12 mit dem Transportband 1 und des Einsatzes eines Tintendruckkopfes 4 sind sowohl ein kontinuierlicher Transport als auch ein kontinuierlicher Druck möglich.

The starting point is a device with
  • a guide plate 2 inclined relative to the vertical for slidable contact of the print carrier 3, which has a recessed area for a printing device,
  • a rotating conveyor belt 1 for applying a feed force to the print carrier 3 along the guide plate 2.
According to the invention, the device has the following features:
  • The printing device is an ink printing device with at least one ink printing head 4.
  • The recessed area has at least one recess 21, 22 and the area 25 following in the transport direction, the guide plate 2, is set back so far relative to the contact plane for the print carrier 3 that the latter is exposed here. In this way, a sufficiently long penetration time for the ink is achieved and smearing of the printed image is prevented.
  • On the conveyor belt 1, pressure elements 12 are fastened with a pressure plate 1211, which is resiliently movable towards and away from the guide plate 2 and presses the pressure carrier 3 against the same and takes it with it by means of a friction lining 122 fastened to it. Due to the resilient mounting of the pressure plate 1211, a continuous adaptation to different thicknesses of the pressure carrier 3 is achieved.
Due to the direct coupling of the pressure elements 12 to the conveyor belt 1 and the use of an ink print head 4, both continuous transport and continuous printing are possible.
