Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Mopbezug 1 ist für das Naß- oder Feuchtwischen von Fußböden oder dgl. Flächen bestimmt. Der Mopbezug 1 hat eine obere Trägermateriallage 2 und eine der zu reinigenden Fläche zuzukehrende Florfäden 3 tragende Reinigungsmateriallage 4. Der Mopbezug 1 ist auf einen Mophalter aufziehbar, indem er auf der Oberseite der Trägermateriallage 2 als stirnseitige nach innen offene Taschen 5 ausgebildete, Befestigungsmittel aufweist. In die Taschen 5 kann ein teilweise zusammengeklappter Mophalter mit seinen Flügelenden eingeführt und können die Mophalterflügel in der üblichen Weise in ihre gestreckte und arretierte Arbeitsstellung überführt werden, wodurch der Mopbezug 1 auf den Mophalter aufgespannt ist. Erfindungsgemäß besteht das Trägermaterial 2' aus einem Vlies, Filz oder dgl. saugfähigen textilen Material mit einem Wasseraufnahmevermögen zwischen etwa 600 und 800%, was bedeuet, daß das Gewicht des Mopbezuges 1 nach vollständigem Aufsaugen von Flüssigkeit etwa 6 bis 8 mal so schwer ist wie der trockene Mopbezug 1. Das Trägermaterial 2' hat dabei vorzugsweise ein Flächengewicht zwischen etwa 200 und 300 g/m2. Wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, hat die der zu reinigenden Fläche zuzukehrende von dem Reinigungsmaterial 4' gebildete Seite des Mopbezugs 1 einen florfreien Rand 6 mit einer geringen Breite zwischen etwa 0,5 und 1,5 cm. Der florfreie Rand 6 ist durch Umschlagen des Trägermaterials 4' nach unten gebildet.
