Andererseits hat sich herausgestellt, daß das elastische Verhalten des Stopfens für seinen ordnungsgemäßen Einbau in den Sprossenprofilhohlraum von wesentlicher Bedeutung ist, insbesondere wenn die Sprossenwandung sehr dünn ist, wie dies bei den heutzutage vielfach verwendeten Ziersprossen oftmals der Fall ist. Hier hat es sich gezeigt, daß die Wabenkonstruktion zwar dem Stopfen die gewünschte Festigkeit verleiht, jedoch aufgrund des gewünschten Preßsitzes zwischen Stopfen und Sprossen zu einer Verformung der Sprossenwandung beim Einschlagen des Stopfens führen kann, die das Aussehen der Sprosse im Verbindungsbereich Sprosse/Abstandsprofil beeinträchtigt.
