Abstract

An illuminated strip used for indication of an escape path has a main housing frame (1) produced of a lightweight metal alloy. The main channel section is shaped to receive an LED indicator strip (5) with LED elements (9) and a decorated foil (7) supported on projections (6). The channel is enclosed by a cover strip (2) of transparent material and this is formed to clip into position. The outer sections are shaped (13,14) to receive end plates.
