Description

The present invention relates to a sorting plant outlet with a vertical drop channel and with a guide channel connected to this Guide one from a transport container into the drop channel discarded sorted goods in a collecting container.

Sorting systems are today for in-house Material transportation is widely used and for example in libraries, hospitals, Large mail order companies, publishers, in the pharmaceutical and Cosmetics industry and used in large photo laboratories. Because in most applications the sorted goods is designed in such a way that when it falls freely a certain amount of risk of damage cannot be excluded, it is recommended the sorting outlets are not simply vertical chutes train, but so that a deceleration of the goods to be sorted. Of course, this applies especially for fragile items to be sorted, such as Recordings.

In EP-A-0 503 403 there is a sorting exit Type described, in which the material to be sorted in the guide channel is led positively and thereby in a defined Position for transfer to the collection container brought. The guide channel is as a twist having closed channel formed, the the goods to be sorted as they pass into the defined transfer position rotates. This sorting out has Sorting systems for sound carriers, such as music cassettes and Compact Dics, for books and for video cassettes well proven.

A very important area of application for sorting systems are large photo laboratories in which the equipment for sorting and distributing with photographic Material filled order bags can be used. Although this type of goods is damaged is very unlikely to fall down here too there is no wish for the order bags to let it fall into the collecting container but rather in a defined position to hand over. The reason for this desire is that if you just fall into the container these are usually filled completely out of order, which increases the capacity of the receptacles is only partially exploited. And this means that the full receptacles against in rapid succession empty ones need to be replaced, so unnecessary Many receptacles are needed that are unnecessary much effort has to be handled.

Despite these similar requirements as the Sound carriers is that described in EP-A-0 503 403 Sorting exit for processing photographic Job bags and similar items not necessarily suitable. The reason for this is that modern sorting systems like the SINOMEC SORTER-2 (SINOMEC - registered trademark of Sinomec AG) process over 8000 orders per hour, which is more than two drops of sorted goods per second means. And that in turn means that the goods to be sorted the exits must pass as quickly as possible, so that there is no interference in them. This The positive sorting goods can be required in that described in EP-A-0 503 403 closed channel can hardly be met.

A sorting system outlet is now intended by the invention be specified, on the one hand, an orderly Filling the collection container and on the other hand if possible allows quick passage of the goods to be sorted.

This object is achieved according to the invention solved that the drop channel into part of the Deflection part forming guide channel opens, of at least two against each other and inclined to the fall channel, in the area of the There are deflection surfaces lying the upright in the deflecting part falling sorting goods through the first sohräg lying deflection surface around the direction of fall is rotated.

The dropped job bag falls in the drop channel down freely, upright, meets one of the deflection surfaces and is thereby from the high position swung into the flat position. The job bag hits to the next deflection surface and is stabilized and aligned and then glides in a stable transverse position to the collecting container and falls into it. On this way there is an order pocket in the collecting container on the other so that an orderly stack is formed.

Fig. 1 shows a front view of an outgoing module a sorting system and FIG. 2 shows a side view this module, based on Fig. 1 from the left seen. As shown, the module includes a stand 1 on the floor, which on its Head part a transport track 2 for box-like Transport containers, the so-called sorting boxes 3, having. Each sorting box 3 has a number of, for example Equipped with 18 compartments, each of which is intended to hold an article and a Has bottom flap. The transport track 2 is rail-like educated; are transverse between the rails to these drop channels 4 of the individual sorting outlets arranged. As a rule, the module 24 has such Fall channels and sorting outlets. The sorting boxes are coded and their position is determined by a sensor determined and followed with a cycle, so that a error-free sorting is guaranteed.

Exactly when an article with a compartment of a sorting box containing a specific address 3 above the drop channel of the assigned to this address Stands out, the bottom flap of the relevant subject opens and the article is in the Drop channel thrown and reaches one of the Fall channel 4 adjoining guide channel to one collection container assigned to the respective address 5. The collecting container 5 can by box-like Container or through with specially shaped handles for easy removal and convenient handling Carrier bags are formed.

As shown, the receptacles are 5 in three levels one above the other, one with Shelves 6 for the rack 5 provided frame 7 is provided. This frame can be above the top row of collecting containers 5 an additional Storage board 8 with compartments 9 for manual sorting Goods such as posters or oversized mailing bags, exhibit. A column of three each collecting containers 5 placed one above the other is one a unit group with three sorting branches assigned.

In Figur 3 ist eine solche Abgangsgruppe in der Blickrichtung von vorne, wie in Fig. 1, dargestellt, die Fig. 4 bis 6 zeigen jeweils zwei Ansichten der drei die Abgangsgruppe bildenden Sortierabgänge S2, S1 und S3.FIG. 3 shows such an outgoing group in the direction of view from the front, as in FIG. 1, FIGS. 4 to 6 each show two views of the three sorting outlets S 2 , S 1 and S 3 forming the outgoing group.

In Fig. 1, the first three drop channels within the module shown and the associated column of collecting containers are numbered with corresponding indices 1 to 3 and designated by the reference numerals 4 1 to 4 3 and 5 1 to 5 3 . The sorting outlet S 1 with the drop channel 4 1 thus supplies the collecting container 5 1 , the sorting outlet S 2 with the falling channel 4 2 the collecting container 5 2 and the sorting outlet S 3 with the falling channel 4 3 the collecting container 5 3 .

The order bags to be sorted reach the drop channel 4 upright in the drop channel and fall vertically downward through the differently high drop channels, the different length or height of the drop channels being due to the fact that the collecting containers 5 are arranged one above the other. The drop channel 4 of each sorting outlet S 1 , S 2 , S 3 merges at its lower end into a guide channel 10 which consists of a deflection part 11 and an outlet part 12, the latter being in the form of an inclined, flat-bottomed channel Has. The deflecting part 11 is a very important element of the sorting process, because here the flat material to be sorted is turned from its upright position into the flat position and aligned with the collecting container.

As can be seen from FIGS. 3 to 6, the deflecting part 11 consists of several, as shown two or three, deflecting surfaces 13 which are inclined both towards each other and towards the drop channel. The order pocket thrown into the drop channel 4 falls freely downwards and strikes a first obliquely lying deflecting surface 13, that is the deflecting surface that goes away from the left and in FIG. 6 from the right side wall in FIGS. 4 and 5. As a result, the order pocket is rotated on the one hand about its axis lying in the direction of fall and thus more or less reaches the plane of the drawing, and on the other hand, due to the inclination of the deflecting surfaces towards the fall channel, is pivoted from the vertical into a plane angled to this. The remaining deflection surfaces stabilize the position of the order pocket and align it with the outlet part 12. The fact that three deflection surfaces are provided in the sorting outlet S 3 is due to the high speed of the job pockets caused by the drop height when they arrive in the deflection part.

The fall height also affects the inclination of the Deflection part 11 between drop channel 4 and outlet part 12. The angle α between the drop channel and the deflecting part increases with increasing drop height, whereas the corresponding Inclination of the outlet part 12 remains the same or decreases slightly. The angles are in FIGS. 4 to 6 drawn in true to size.

Practical tests have shown that the described sorting outlets the requirements easily meet and even at the highest processing speed work trouble-free. there means trouble-free that neither damage the Job bags still traffic jams or other disruptions in the sorting issues occur. The sorting exits are made of a suitable plastic, such as glass fiber reinforced polyester manufactured and are simply put together during assembly and by means of suitable holding ribs on corresponding ones Counterparts of frame 1 fixed.
