Description

The invention relates to a device for dry and wet treatment for diseases, in particular in dermatology and paronychia using ultrasound, consisting of an electronic part for control with connected ultrasound transducer.

Bathing units for ultrasound therapy are known in the form of liquid containers with built-in ultrasound sensors, which units are used for treatment when the diseased parts of the body are immersed. Depending on the tub size, these units can be used stationary or mobile, e.g. EPA 0 301 162 shows. This improves the circulation and cleansing of the parts of the body to be treated and thus the healing effect. However, these bathing units have the disadvantage of being unwieldy and bulky; They require a corresponding amount of space and are therefore suitable for therapy institutions and less for private use. There are also small devices in the form of foot tubs for wet treatment.

In contrast, the invention relates to a hand-held device for versatile mobile use, which can serve the same purposes with the same efficiency without and in conjunction with an existing tub for dry and wet treatment.

To this end, the device for dry treatment in the case of diseases, in particular in dermatology and paronychia using ultrasound, is characterized by an arrangement of at least one electronic part for control with connected ultrasound transducer according to the invention a transducer in a pot-shaped hand-held transducer housing, on which on the one hand a preferably adjustable handle and on the other hand a membrane in front of the transducer with a watertight housing connection is arranged, which is followed by a second diaphragm enclosing a liquid or water cushion, through which the sound vibrations can be transmitted to the treatment site upon application are for use in the frequency range between 30 and 80 kHz, especially at 50 kHz.

For wet treatment, the device is characterized by the arrangement of at least one transducer in a pot-shaped hand-held vibrator housing, on which on the one hand a preferably adjustable handle and on the other hand a membrane in front of the transducer with a watertight housing connection is arranged, which is followed by a liquid or water cushion when immersed in the liquid, formed by a housing edge with openings, in particular with a wave edge, in front of the membrane on the housing, so that the ultrasonic vibrations can be transmitted by resting on the treatment site immersed in a liquid container by means of the remaining liquid cushion for use in the frequency range between 30 and 80 kHz, especially at 50 kHz.

Further details of the device according to the invention are shown in the drawing on the basis of exemplary embodiments for dry and wet treatment, and are described below and show that:
Figure 1
the view of a complete device for dry treatment partially in section,
Figure 2
the enlarged section through the intended handle joint and
Figure 3
the view of a device for wet treatment in section.

According to Figure 1 corresponds to the first embodiment, the device consists of a known electronic part 1 with switching on and off and frequency intensity control, etc. with supply line 1a for an ultrasonic transducer 2 in the hand-held transducer housing 3 with a handle 5 which is pivotable at 4. The housing 3 is here made in a cylindrical shape from stainless steel with a waterproof stainless steel membrane 6 sealed by means of a silicone ring 6 b, behind which the oscillator 2 is arranged. A second membrane 7 is sealed upstream of the membrane 6 and comprises (6) and (7) a liquid or water cushion 8. When placed on the treatment site, the ultrasonic vibrations are transmitted to the diseased part of the body.

On the pot-shaped hand-held vibrator housing 3, namely on the housing base, on the other hand, a pivotable handle 9 is provided by the liquid or water cushion 8 according to FIG Handle bolts 13 screwed in. In its pivoted position, the handle bolt 13 can be fixed in its pivoted position by further screwing in down to the base 14 of the segment receptacle 11.

According to FIG. 3 in accordance with the second exemplary embodiment, the device likewise consists of the electronic part 1, not shown again here, with a lead 1a to the ultrasonic vibrator 2b in the handheld vibrator housing 3a with a handle 5a pivotably provided at 4a. The housing 3a is also made here in a cylindrical shape from stainless steel with a waterproof stainless steel membrane 6a, sealed by means of a silicone ring 6c, behind which the oscillator 2a is arranged. The diaphragm 6a is preceded by a shaft edge 7a on the housing 3a. When resting on the treatment site placed in a liquid container, the sound vibrations are thus transmitted via the water cushion located through the edge of the housing with side openings. As a result of the wave edge, a good swirl of water is formed, which leads to a quick treatment success.

The arrangement of the pivotable handle 9 ff takes place here, as described in the first embodiment. Instead of a stainless steel housing, a housing made of elastic material such as rubber or plastic can also be used, which can also be formed in one piece with the membrane.

The provided liquid or water cushion according to FIG. 1 can also be used with the cushion bag closed, e.g. with locking ring, against an upstream housing edge with openings, in particular with a shaft edge according to Fig. 2, e.g. as a locking ring, can be exchanged Here, one and the same device can be used for dry and wet treatment, as is not particularly shown, but e.g. can be realized by means of ring catch.
