Abstract

  • 1.1. Formiersieb für die Naßpartie einer Papiermaschine, bestehend aus einem einlagigen oder mehrlagigen Ge­ webe aus Metall oder Kunststoff, das im Bereich seiner randseitigen Hochverschleißzone eine Verstär­ kung gegen Abnutzung durch Abrieb aufweist.
  • 1.2. Um die Verschleißbeständigkeit der Hochverschleiß­ zonen zu erhöhen, ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, in diesen Zonen zusätzliche Verschleißfäden in das Gewebe einzuweben. Dies hat jedoch den Nachteil, daß die Verstärkung bereits beim Weben angebracht werden muß, weshalb die Verstärkungsfäden für jedes Sieb mit einer anderen Breite neu plaziert werden müssen bzw. beim Weben der Breitenzuschnitt durch die Posi­ tionierung der Verstärkungsfäden bereits festgelegt ist, wodurch Webfehlern, die sehr häufig in der Nähe der Webkanten auftreten, nicht mehr ausgewichen wer­ den kann.
  • 1.3. Die Erfindung vermeidet diese Nachteile dadurch, daß die Verstärkung in Form einer Verschleißmasse auf das Gewebe aufgebracht und mit ihm verbunden ist, wodurch die Herstellung der Verstärkung der Hoch­ verschleißzonen erst nach dem Weben und Fixieren oder auch erst nach dem Siebzuschnitt und dessen Nahtung erfolgen kann.
