Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ruban composite pour machines d'impression d'étiquettes et machine utilisant un tel ruban.
Le ruban composite est constitué par une bande (2) sur laquelle sont ménagées des zones imprimables régulièrement espacées et par un ruban encreur (4) de largeur égale ou inférieure à celle de la bande (2) recouvrant au moins les zones imprimables et fixé à ces dernières et/ou à la bande (2).
La machine d'impression comprend un magasin dans lequel est dis­ posé un ruban (1) agencé en rouleau, une tête d'impression (5) chauffante qui imprime par transfert de l'encreur du ruban (4) la zone imprimable qui se trouve sous elle et un dispositif moteur (7) d'avance en continu qui coopère par friction avec le ruban (1) pour amener une nouvelle zone imprimable sous la tête (5). La dite machine est dotée, en amont de la tête d'impression (5), sur le trajet du ruban composite à distance ajustable de ce poste d'impression, d'un moyen (11) de détection des zones impri­ mables qui émet un signal à destination de ses organes de comman­ de de la machine qui commandent au terme d'un délai prédéterminé l'impression de la zone imprimable située sous la tête. Said machine is provided, upstream of the print head (5), on the path of the composite ribbon at an adjustable distance from this print station, with means (11) for detecting printable areas which emits a signal to its machine control units which, after a predetermined period of time, order the printing of the printable area located under the head.
