Abstract

The element is used in combination with a water-based liquid ink comprising a crosslinkable and water dispersible dye / resin composition, and the ink-receiving layer contains a crosslinking agent producing crosslinking of the dye / resin composition so as to make the ink tracings resistant to smudging, abrasion and water.
