Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for comminuting, in particular vegetable or other waste subject to rotting, in an embodiment according to the preamble of claim 1 (DE-A-2600454).
- Crushing devices for the production of quickly rotting waste or composting material are increasingly required in private and municipal plants, in agricultural and forestry operations and the like. Devices which also carry bulky and hard waste materials such as, for. B. shrubs and branches to process.
- DE-A-3606 273 describes a comminution device which can be produced with only a small amount of constructional work, with screw conveyors of the type mentioned at the beginning, with the without the requirement of vertical conveyors and manholes tending to become blocked during a circulating process, the waste material conveyed by the lower screw conveyor is crushed and passed on to the upper, oppositely conveying screw conveyor by subsequent waste materials along the upright housing wall.
- relatively high screw conveyor drive capacities must be made available, in particular when a shredding tool first encounters e.g. hard, thick waste materials to achieve the desired size reduction effect and to maintain the circulation process.
- the shredding device of the type mentioned is characterized in that the shredding tool has an arcuate cutting or tearing edge with an arc extending in the circumferential direction of the screw auger radially to the longitudinal axis of the screw conveyor.
- the worm drive power required to shred hard and bulky waste material is significantly reduced due to the curved cutting or tearing edge of a shredding tool that acts on the shredded material.
- the comminution tools are driven in comminution mode in such a way that the curve of the cutting or tearing edge widens radially against the direction of screw rotation.
- the screw conveyor rotates the shredded tool continuously or increasingly shreds the waste to be shredded with increasing compaction due to the emerging cutting or tearing edge. Very high outputs to be applied abruptly are therefore not necessary. A fixation of the device is not to be feared even when processing tree trunks, for example.
- the crushing tools designed with the arcuate cutting or tear edge are inexpensive to manufacture components which are exposed to reduced wear and tear due to their arcuate edge course in the crushing operation.
- the comminution tool can be designed depending on the requirements necessary in the individual case, in particular also with regard to the strength properties of the tool.
- the comminution tool is preferably of a crescent shape overall, so that, by reversing the direction of rotation of the screw conveyor, any comminution material which is stuck can be loosened and returned to the feed zones of the augers.
- a comminution device is generally designated by 1, which in the exemplary embodiments shown is designed as a hanger equipped with a drawbar 2, an axle 3 and wheels 4.
- This trailer is to be attached to an agricultural tractor or other suitable towing vehicle, can be driven to a desired location as required and is particularly suitable for municipalities, agricultural and forestry operations and the like.
- the shredder wagon 1 is with side housing walls 5 and front - Provided and rear upright housing walls 6.
- the housing has an essentially funnel-shaped cross-sectional profile and is delimited at the bottom by a housing base 8 and at the top by a housing cover 7.
- the material to be composted is introduced from above into the comminution trolley and is discharged from the device via a flap 10 attached to a lifting cylinder 9 and a discharge belt 11 after comminution and mixing of the comminution material.
- screw conveyors 16, 17 and 18 having oppositely aligned conveying passages 14 or conveying rounds 15 are arranged in the interior of the housing in two superimposed horizontal planes 12 and 13.
- the longitudinal axis 19 of the lower screw conveyor 16 is in the lower horizontal plane 12 and the longitudinal axes 20 of the two upper, parallel arranged screw conveyors 17 and 18 in the upper horizontal plane 13.
- Both the lower screw conveyor 16 and the two upper screw conveyors 17 and 18 are rotatably mounted in the vertical housing walls 6.
- the conveying paths 14 of the two upper screw conveyors 17 and 18 are aligned in the opposite direction to the conveying path 14 of the lower screw conveyor 16, so that the material to be shredded is conveyed from the lower screw conveyor 16 in the direction of arrow 21 (FIG. 1) and from the upper screws 17 when the screw conveyor is wrapped and 18 in the direction of arrows 22 (Fig. 1) is promoted.
- the lower screw conveyor 16 has, in its longitudinal end region facing the front vertical housing wall 6, the comminution tools 23, which are arranged offset on the screw tube jacket 24 in the longitudinal and circumferential direction. In the area of the crushing tools 23, the lower screw conveyor is designed to be free of rounds.
- the upper screw conveyors 17 and 18 carry vertical conveyor fingers 25 on their longitudinal end regions, which are likewise opposite and are designed to be disc-free, and which support the multiple circulation of the waste material to be comminuted.
- the crushing tools 23 arranged on the lower screw conveyor 16 have an arcuate cutting or tearing edge 26 with an arc extending in the circumferential direction of the screw conveyor radially to the longitudinal axis 19 of the screw conveyor.
- the lower screw conveyor 16 rotates in the direction of the arrow 27, so that the tear or cutting edge 26 opposes the direction of rotation of the screw conveyor radially expanded.
- a total of three offset grinding tools are provided, the arcuate cutting or tearing edges 26 of which on the screw conveyor side merge essentially smoothly into the screw tube jacket 24 which delimits the conveying path 14 inwards, so that the step of the cutting edge is continuous on the screw tube jacket without step-like edge projections and the like 24 connects.
- the cutting or tearing edges 26 of the three cutting tools 23 each extend approximately over a conveyor screw circumference segment of approximately 180 °, so that the adjacent edges 26 overlap in regions. If the cutting edge 26 of a comminution tool 23 thus hits the comminution material, it is first pre-cut, then comminuted further under continuous compression and passed on to the comminution tool 23 adjacent in the conveying direction, which in turn continuously carries out the comminution process with an overall relatively low drive power requirement.
- the crushing device can thus also from z. B. tractors of smaller construction.
- each comminution tool 23 has a substantially crescent shape, which results in a generally favorable strength. speed properties also in the event of an obstruction of the comminution or circulation process due to e.g. stuck waste materials by simply reversing the rotation of the lower screw conveyor 16 allows digging through the comminution and loosening stuck waste materials.
- the housing base 8 On the inside is the housing base 8 with the crushing tools 23 assigned abutments in the form of protruding ledge extensions 28, which contribute to the fact that waste material to be shredded with the lower screw conveyor 16 without further conveying.
- the housing base 8 In the area of the conveyor disk 15 of the lower screw conveyor 16, the housing base 8 is provided with projections 29.
- the projections 29 are formed by knobs and cooperate with round projections 30 projecting beyond the edge of the conveyor blank, which in the exemplary embodiment illustrated are formed by flat irons which are interchangeably arranged on the conveyor blank 15.
- the flat irons 30 can be arranged such that they engage in the gaps 29 formed by the knobs 29 during the rotation of the screw conveyor 16 or the conveyor disk 15 and thus mesh with them, thereby exerting a tearing effect on the waste material to be shredded.
- the flat bars 30 To grind or grind the waste material on the projections 29, the flat bars 30 are to be provided in such a way that they are guided over the projections or knobs 29 assigned to them when the screw conveyor rotates
- the screw conveyors of the shredding devices illustrated in the exemplary embodiments are driven by an adjustable hydraulic adjustment motor 31 of a known type.
- a hydraulic adjustment motor 31 can be used particularly advantageously, which for an open and closed circuit in axial cone piston Inclined-axis design and whose displacement volume can be changed continuously in a predetermined ratio. Due to the large control range, such a hydraulic adjustment motor fulfills the important requirement for high speed on the one hand for the shredding of different hard and thick waste materials and on the other hand a high torque, so that, for example, the first time a shredding tool 23 hits a hard piece of waste, for example a log, it can be driven at low speed and high torque.
- the hydraulic adjustment motor has the decisive advantage for a comminution device of the present type in practical use that it automatically adapts to the prevailing pressure conditions and thus the required torque.
- the comminution device illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 10 has an upper conveyor screw 32, the longitudinal axis 33 of which is on the one hand obliquely upward from the area of the comminution tools 23 of the lower conveyor screw 16 and on the other hand of a middle one, with an otherwise analogous design as the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 Housing area extends laterally outwards.
- the conveyor disc 15 of this inclined screw conveyor 32 takes over the waste material leaving the lower screw conveyor 16 as soon as it emerges from the lower conveyor disc 15 and transfers it to the rear vertical housing wall 6. This effectively supports the multiple circulation process.
- individual screw conveyors 16, 17, 18, 32 can be designed with a conveying pitch that changes in the longitudinal direction.
- the conveyor pitch of a screw conveyor 17, 18, 32 arranged in the upper level increases preferably to their longitudinal end area facing away from the comminution tool 23 in such a way that the ratio of the outer diameter of the conveyor disk to the diameter of the screw tube shell changes in a range from 1.5 to 2.1 over the length of the screw conveyor.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for comminuting, in particular vegetable or other waste subject to rotting, in an embodiment according to the preamble of claim 1 (DE-A-2600454).
Crushing devices for the production of quickly rotting waste or composting material are increasingly required in private and municipal plants, in agricultural and forestry operations and the like. Devices which also carry bulky and hard waste materials such as, for. B. shrubs and branches to process.
From DE-A-31 04 769 a device with two stacked screw conveyors is known, in which the waste materials are repeatedly circulated or comminuted in order to achieve a consistency of the waste material sufficient for rapid rotting. For this purpose, the waste material is conveyed through a conveyor channel bordering the upper screw conveyor and a vertical conveyor shaft, although blockages in the vertical conveyor or the upper conveyor channel are almost unavoidable despite the overall high construction costs. Leave bulky waste materials only process themselves to a limited extent.
In order to be able to process even bulky waste with multiple circulation to compost in the desired rotting consistency, DE-A-3606 273 describes a comminution device which can be produced with only a small amount of constructional work, with screw conveyors of the type mentioned at the beginning, with the without the requirement of vertical conveyors and manholes tending to become blocked during a circulating process, the waste material conveyed by the lower screw conveyor is crushed and passed on to the upper, oppositely conveying screw conveyor by subsequent waste materials along the upright housing wall. So also z. B. in agricultural and forestry operations resulting in difficult to process composting waste such as shrubbery, thick branches and twigs, tree trunks and the like. Shred and mix in a cost-effective and satisfactory manner to the desired compost mixture. For the shredding process, however, relatively high screw conveyor drive capacities must be made available, in particular when a shredding tool first encounters e.g. hard, thick waste materials to achieve the desired size reduction effect and to maintain the circulation process.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a shredding device of the type mentioned at the outset which, with a construction which is still not susceptible to wear and which is structurally simple, with reduced screw conveyor drive power, is also capable of safely processing bulky, hard waste materials into compost material in the desired consistency.
To achieve this object, the shredding device of the type mentioned is characterized in that the shredding tool has an arcuate cutting or tearing edge with an arc extending in the circumferential direction of the screw auger radially to the longitudinal axis of the screw conveyor. The worm drive power required to shred hard and bulky waste material is significantly reduced due to the curved cutting or tearing edge of a shredding tool that acts on the shredded material. The comminution tools are driven in comminution mode in such a way that the curve of the cutting or tearing edge widens radially against the direction of screw rotation. When the screw conveyor rotates, the shredded tool continuously or increasingly shreds the waste to be shredded with increasing compaction due to the emerging cutting or tearing edge. Very high outputs to be applied abruptly are therefore not necessary. A fixation of the device is not to be feared even when processing tree trunks, for example.
The crushing tools designed with the arcuate cutting or tear edge are inexpensive to manufacture components which are exposed to reduced wear and tear due to their arcuate edge course in the crushing operation. Outside the cutting or tearing edge, the comminution tool can be designed depending on the requirements necessary in the individual case, in particular also with regard to the strength properties of the tool. The comminution tool is preferably of a crescent shape overall, so that, by reversing the direction of rotation of the screw conveyor, any comminution material which is stuck can be loosened and returned to the feed zones of the augers.

In the drawing, a comminution device is generally designated by 1, which in the exemplary embodiments shown is designed as a hanger equipped with a
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, screw
The conveying
The crushing
In the illustrated embodiment, each

The screw conveyors of the shredding devices illustrated in the exemplary embodiments are driven by an adjustable
Inclined-axis design and whose displacement volume can be changed continuously in a predetermined ratio. Due to the large control range, such a hydraulic adjustment motor fulfills the important requirement for high speed on the one hand for the shredding of different hard and thick waste materials and on the other hand a high torque, so that, for example, the first time a
The comminution device illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 10 has an
