Wäschetrockner mit einem einen Wäschebehandlungsraum (12) umschließenden Gehäuse (2) Mitteln zum Führen eines Luftstromes (13) durch den Wäschebehandlungsraum (12), mit einem im Luftstrom (13) angeordneten Flusensieb (6; 6') und mit in Reihe mit einem Hauptschalter (16) angeordneten, ein Schaltstreckenteil (10; 10') und ein Betätigungsteil (7; 7') aufweisenden Schaltmitteln (17, 18), die bei Betätigung den Betrieb des Wäschetrockners (1) freigeben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Teil der Schaltmittel (17, 18) an dem Flusensieb (6; 6') und das andere Teil an dem Gehäuse (2) vorgesehen ist.1.
