Bei einem Frisierstab mit einem Handgriff, einem an einem Ende an den Handgriff angeschlossenen, rohrförmigen Frisierschaft (1) und einer Elektroheizung, bei dem die Elektroheizung ein im Frisierschaft (1) angeordnetes Widerstandsheizelement (2) aufweist, das Widerstandsheiz­ element (2) mit Anschlußbereichen zum Anschluß einer elektrischen Stromquelle versehen ist und ggf. eine Isolation zum Schutz gegen Be­ rührung von elektrisch leitenden Teilen vorhanden ist, werden eine kurze Aufheizzeit, eine stabile, sich selbst haltende Temperatur gleichzeitig mit sehr niedrigen Herstellungskosten dadurch erreicht, daß das Widerstandsheizelement (2) als flächenhaftes, biegsames, vor­ zugsweise federelstisches Bauteil mit einem flächenhaften, biegsamen Heizwiderstand ausgeführt, in einer der Form des Frisierschafts (1) etwa entsprechenden, vorzugsweise kreiszylindrisch-mantelförmigen Form gebogen in den Frisierschaft (1) eingesetzt und im wesentlichen mit seiner vollen Fläche unmittelbar an der Innenwand des Frisierschafts (1) anliegend angeordnet ist und daß ein das Widerstandsheizelement (2) an der Innenwand des Frisierschafts (1) anpressendes, einen guten Wärme­ übergang vom Widerstandsheizelement (2) auf den Frisierschaft (1) ge­ währleistendes Federelement (3) vorgesehen ist.
