1°- Perfectionnements aux connecteurs électri­ques du type dit : "hermaphrodite" comprenant deux éléments de boîtier identiques (1-2) dont l'un est tourné tête bêche sens dessus dessous par rapport au premier, chaque élément (1-2) comprenant une partie mâle (22) destinée à s'insérer dans une partie femelle (23) de l'autre élément (1-2) et une partie femelle (23) destinée à recevoir la partie mâle (22) dudit autre élément, la partie mâle (22) étant délimitée par deux parois latérales (22a) et deux autres parois (22b et 22c), tandis que la partie femelle (23) est délimitée par deux parois latérales (23a) et deux autres parois (23b et 23c), chacune des parties mâles et femelles (22-23) compor­tant une série de canaux (3,3a) destinés à recevoir chacun un organe de contacts électriques (4) relié à un conducteur électrique (6), lesdits organes de contacts électriques logés dans les canaux (3) des parties mâles étant complémen­taires de ceux logés dans les canaux (30) des parties femel­les, et des moyens de verrouillage étant prévus pour maintenir assemblés lesdits éléments de boîtier, caractérisés en ce que la partie femelle de chaque élément de boîtier (23) comporte sur des parois latérales (23a) des glissières (39) tandis que la partie mâle (12) de chaque élément de boîtier comporte sur ses parois latérales (22a) des barrettes en saillie (38) destinées à coopérer avec les glissières (39) chaque barrette (38) étant pourvue, à son extrémité libre d'une rampe inclinée (40), la paroi (22b) de la partie mâle (22) opposée à celle (22c) adjacente à la partie femelle (23) comportant une patte de verrouillage (25) présentant une partie élastique (31) raccordée à ladite paroi (22b)) par une partie arrondie rigide (27), tandis que la face interne de la paroi (23c) correspondante de la partie femelle (23) est pourvue d'un ergot (35) destiné à coopérer, lors de l'assemblage des deux éléments (1-2) de boîtier avec la patte de verrouillage (25), la position de l'ergot (35), de la patte de verrouillage et des rampes inclinées (40) étant telle, qu'au début de l'assemblage des éléments de boîtier (1-2) l'ergot (35) doit gravir la partie arrondie (27) et engendrer un déplacement, l'un par rapport à l'autre, desdits éléments (1-2) dans des directions divergentes sensi­blement perpendiculaires par rapport à l'axe d'engagement de l'un dans l'autre des éléments de boîtier, tandis qu'après que l'ergot (35) ait gravi la partie arrondie (27) les rampes (40) en coopérant avec les glissières (39) amènent les éléments (1-2) dans la position normale d'assemblage.1 ° -
