Stuhl mit einem rückwärts neigbaren Sitzträger (3) und einem Rückenlehnenträger (4), wobei der Sitzträger an dem knieseitigen Sitzende mit einem Drehgelenk (5) an einem Tragteil (1) um eine horizontale Achse schwenkbar angeordnet und an dem rückenlehnenseiti gen Sitzende durch ein Drehgelenk (9) mit horizontaler Schwenkachse mit dem Rückenlehnenträger schwenkbar verbunden ist, welch letzterer am Tragteil mit Abstand von dem knieseitigen Drehgelenk des Sitzträgers um eine horizontale Achse schwenkbar angelenkt und beim Rückwärtsneigen des Sitzträgers um einen grösseren Winkel als der Neigungswinkel des Sitzträgers neigbar ist, wobei eine am Rückenlehnenträger geführte Rückenlehne (21) entsprechend der Neigung des Sitzträgers absenkbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die verschiebbare Rückenlehne (21) über eine Gliederkette (15) mit dem rückenlehnenseitigen Ende des Sitzträgers (3) gekoppelt ist.1.
