Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sports shoe, in particular for running disciplines over longer distances, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a running shoe is known from US Pat. No. 4,364,188.
- There is an island-shaped cushion in the soft midsole which is even softer than the rest of the midsole, for good cushioning of the high pressure and shock loads that occur during running, particularly in the ball area and in the heel area.
- To control the damping and to stabilize the running properties in the heel area there are several cylindrical plugs made of harder elastic material than the midsole in this midsole adjacent to the island-shaped padding on the inside of the running shoe.
- plugs of different hardness can be inserted into the holes in the midsole from the outsole.
- plugs can be molded onto a carrier and inserted together into the midsole, the Carrier forms part of the outsole after insertion.
- the object of the present invention is to improve a sports shoe of the type mentioned at the outset with regard to the fixing of the damping members and the expansion of the damping adjustment range.
- the 1 denotes a sole of a sports shoe, in particular for running disciplines, preferably for long distances.
- This consists of the actual outsole 2 made of abrasion-resistant material, an midsole 3 made of flexible, in particular highly porous material, such as foamed polyurethane, with a specific one Weight from o, o2 to 0 , 0 4 g / cm 3 , and an upper insole 4 or a suitably designed insole made of again harder, elastic material, such as leather, pressed or fibrous material or also of plastics.
- the individual sole parts are connected to one another, for example, by foaming or by gluing.
- the outsole 2 can be provided on the tread with profiles which are known per se and differ depending on the intended use.
- damping discs 6 made of the same material or of material with different damping properties can preferably be inserted from the outsole 2.
- the cylinders 5 can be firmly closed from below by a closure part 7.
- a piston 8 is immersed in each of the cylinders 5 and presses against the damping disks 6 at least when running, that is to say under load.
- the pistons 8 are all attached to the insole 4 or insole or they form a unitary component, for example a plastic injection molded part.
- the cylinders 5 are supported from the inside on the outsole 2, or they are fastened to it, for example by gluing and / or latching and / or by riveting or the like, or they preferably form a structural unit with the latter.
- the cylinders 5 can also be attached to the insole 4, while the pistons 8 then sit on the outsole 2 or are held by the midsole 3.
- the closure part 7 can also be designed as a piston, As provided in FIG.
- the closure part 7 can be screwed or snapped into and / or glued into the outsole 2 and is still immersed in the cylinder 5.
- an insole made of hard, elastic material can also be provided and this can then carry the pistons 8 or the cylinders 5 or form a structural unit with them.
- FIG. 1 shows a cup-shaped or hood-shaped: closure part 7, which can be screwed into the cylinder 5 which is in contact with or attached to the outsole 2 by means of a flange 9.
- the pot base 10 is provided with a rotary engagement element 11, for example a strip or a slot or polygonal socket of the like. Due to the screwing-in possibility of the closure part 7, depending on the screwing depth, a fine adjustment of the damping or spring characteristics can be carried out.
- the remaining outsole opening 12 can preferably be closed with, for example, an expandable or press-in blind cover 13, in particular made of aluminum sheet, plastic or the like.
- the cylinders 5, at least on the piston insertion side on the free edge 14 to the outside can be expanded, for example in a funnel shape.
- the arrangement of the cylinders 5 with the damping disks 6 and the pistons 8 can be distributed over the entire sole 1. However, as shown in FIG. 2, they are preferably provided around the areas which are particularly stressed during running, namely in the ball area 15 and in particular in the heel area 16. In the latter they are preferably arranged on both sides and in the bale area 15 on both sides and behind. As a result, the shock loads in these areas are reduced by distributing them over a larger pressure area with specifically adjustable damping characteristics.
- the cylinders 5 and the pistons 8 are designed such that the cylinders 5 engage at least 40% to a maximum of 80% in the midsole 3, the pistons 8 being able to dip at least 5% to a maximum of 90% into the cylinders 5. This ensures that the pistons 8 engage sufficiently in the cylinders 5 and are guided therein. On the other hand, the cylinders 5 are also sufficiently supported in the midsole 3 against lateral deflection, even if they are not actuated on the outsole 2 or on the insole 4 or an insole present between the insole 4 and the midsole 3.
- damping disks 6 can be accommodated in the individual cylinders 5. If several damping disks 6 per cylinder-piston pair 5, 8 are used, damping disks 6 with different damping or spring characteristics can also be used in order to be able to set the optimal damping depending on the type of load.
- the damping discs 6 are preferably made of resilient, volume-compressible material, such as foamed plastics with a higher or lower degree of foaming.
- the arrangement of the cylinder-piston pairs 5, 8 can also be made such that they completely coaxially surround the "soft" ball and heel regions 15, 16 in one or more rows. It is also possible to provide damping on the outside of the outsole with softer damping characteristics than on the inside of the outsole.
Abstract
