Bei einer bekannten Anordnung der gattungsgemäßen Art (DE-OS 27 36 664) weisen die in Reihungstiefe verlaufenden Stromschienen der Reihenklemmen jeweils zwei in Reihungstiefe orientierte Stecköffnungen auf, und als Querverbinder sind jeweils eine Vielzahl von U-förmigen Querverbinder-Steckelementen vorgesehen, wobei zur Erstellung der gewünschten Querverbindungen jeweils immer in lückenloser Aufeinanderfolge von Reihenklemme zu Reihenklemme ein derartiges Querverbinder-Element eingesteckt werden muß. Es müssen somit eine Vielzahl einzelner Querverbinder-Steckelemente bevorratet werden und es müssen normalerweise dann auch in einer Anreihung von Reihenklemmen eine Vielzahl derartiger Querverbinder-Steckelemente durch Einstecken angebracht werden, so daß von der Montageseite her im Grunde genommen der theoretisch mögliche Vorteil gegenüber Querverbindern mit Schraubanschluß wieder verlorengeht. Die Stromschienen können dann mit einem einfachen Langloch versehen werden, so daß sich aufgrund dieser Ausgestaltung auch die gewünschten relativ großen und hier erforderlichen Übertragungsquerschnitte für recht beträchtliche Stromstärken an den Flachsteckern verwirklichen lassen.
