Definitions
- the invention relates to a piece of seating furniture with a seat surface, a backrest which is resiliently connected to the seat surface and a support frame.
- a springy seat is known (DE-G M 1 691 799), in which the seat surface and backrest are formed in one piece and which consists of layers glued to a plywood shell, the surface connecting the seat surface to the backrest being constricted.
- this plywood shell has a uniform wall thickness.
- the properties of the spring region in cross section L-shaped between the seat surface and the backrest can be influenced only to a limited extent.
- the strength of the well-known plywood shell depends on the quality of the gluing of the layers to one another.
- Another disadvantage of the known chair is that the plywood shell is difficult to connect to the base or only via additional parts.
- the invention has for its object to provide a piece of furniture in which the suspension properties of the backrest can be adjusted and influenced within certain limits, in which no strength problems occur, in which the connection to the support frame is not difficult and which is economically feasible.
- the solution to this problem is characterized in that between the seat surface and the backrest a cross-sectionally U-shaped suspension area is arranged over the entire width of the seat and backrest, and that the suspension area protrudes beyond the line of intersection of the seat surface and backrest.
- the suspension area can consist of plastic and be single-walled and rounded. Furthermore, it can be provided that the center plane of the suspension area is inclined approximately 45 ° to the horizontal. By shifting the rotating roll-off area to the rear, the backrest has a favorable swiveling behavior. The backrest is guided horizontally when springing and does not sink to the rear, as in the known seating furniture. Due to the design of the spring area made of plastic and its special shape, the spring behavior can be better controlled and the increasing line of force can be more easily limited. The spring area is larger due to its semicircular shape in the development and peak tensions are distributed more favorably.
- the suspension area which is curved in one sense, is designed to be as wide as the seat surface or the backrest, which is possible through the choice of plastic.
- the position of the suspension area between the seat surface and backrest or the connection ends for the seat surface and backrest also enables the base part for the seating furniture, which is injection molded from a plastic, to be shaped in the direction of the central plane of the suspension area. This results in a relatively inexpensive manufacture of the tool.
- the legs of the suspension region run essentially parallel to one another and the ends of the legs diverge and run approximately at right angles to one another. This results in a positionally favorable arrangement in relation to the seat surface and the back surface, so that these are oriented approximately at right angles to one another in the normal position.
- the main part of the spring action lies in the rounded base of the suspension area, so that the precisely coordinated suspension travel of the backrest is made possible.
- the suspension area is double-walled at the ends of the legs and is formed with stiffening ribs
- the "two-dimensional" single-walled suspension area merges into the third dimension at both ends, so that the ends run out and are stiffened and that of Seat and backrest can absorb the power to be transmitted well.
- the seat surface and / or the backrest is formed in one piece with the suspension area from the same material. This makes it possible to create a piece of seating furniture which is made from one piece, but which, in contrast to the known plywood shell seating furniture, has the advantages of greater strength and better suspension properties.
- the seat surface and backrest are not formed in one piece with the suspension area, it can be provided that receptacles for the backrest and the seat surface are provided on the suspension area. This makes it possible to connect the individual parts to one another with simple means.
- a receptacle for the support frame is formed on the underside of the seat and on the underside of the horizontal, reinforced leg part of the suspension area.
- a support column can be securely attached with the simplest of means, for example with a cone.
- the receptacle is integrally formed on the underside of the seat and suspension part and corresponds to the suitable base frame.
- a seat support can also be arranged between the support column and the seat surface.
- the seat is provided with a cushion, that the cushion is held by a bracket, and that - the bracket is inserted into receiving sleeves on the suspension area.
- the backrest can consist of a cushion support, a cushion and a bracket which is inserted into receiving sleeves on the suspension area.
- the seat and / or the backrest have a cushion or an upholstery made of integral foam, which are inserted with pins in receiving sleeves on the suspension area.
- a central column or a bench bracket can be attached to the receptacle, which is preferably designed as a conical hole, on the underside of the seat.
- receptacles for armrests are formed on the lateral edges of the suspension area, the armrests being able to be formed approximately at right angles with three corners and the corners representing spring zones. This enables a parallelogram movement of the armrests, which does not affect the suspension between the seat and backrest. The lateral stability of the armrests is also not impaired by the formation of the three spring areas.
- the armrests are designed symmetrically to the diagonal through the one corner and the corner that results as an extension of the leg sections inserted into the receptacles.
- the armrest can be provided with rings at the ends of the free legs, through which the ends of stirrups attached to the seat surface and the backrest are inserted.
- the brackets with which the cushions are held on the seat surface or on the backrest can be made of wood, metal or plastic.
- the armrests can be made of the same material or plastic with a metal insert.
- F ig. 1 shows a piece of seating furniture that can be used, for example, as an office chair, with a seat surface 10, a backrest 12 and a suspension region 14 arranged between the seat surface and the backrest, which extends over the entire width of the seat surface and backrest.
- a central column 16 with a five-armed roller star 18 is attached to the underside of the seat surface 10 as a supporting frame.
- Fig. 2 shows the seating of Fig. 1 in a front view. From this it can be seen that the backrest 12 consists of a cushion part 20 and a bracket 22 surrounding this cushion part 20.
- the seat surface 10 is formed from a cushion part 24 and a holding bracket 26.
- Fig. 3 shows in a modified form the chair of Fig. 1 in side view.
- An armrest 28 is fastened to the suspension area 14 and is rectangular in shape and has three corners 30, 32 and 34.
- Short legs 36 and 38 are inserted into receptacles 40 and 42 which are formed on the suspension area 14.
- FIG. 4 shows the chair of FIG. 3 in a front view with the backrest 28 and an armrest 29 correspondingly arranged on the other side of the seating furniture.
- Fig. 5 shows a seat also consisting of a seat 44, a backrest 46 and a suspension area 48, but which is not supported by a central column, but by a tubular frame 50, the upper bars 52 attached to the underside of the seat 44 in recesses are.
- F ig. 6 shows a schematic illustration in side view of a piece of seating furniture without a supporting frame. From this representation, particularly the specially trained F ed mecanics Society be seen.
- This suspension area 54 is made of plastic, for example, and is single-walled. In cross section, the suspension area has an approximately U- shaped shape with parallel legs and with a rounded base 56. The area 56 is approximately semicircular. Due to this semicircular shape, the suspension area is larger in the development and for this reason peak tensions can be distributed more cheaply.
- the ends 58 and 60 of the legs of the suspension area 54 diverge and run approximately at right angles to one another.
- a central plane 62 laid through the suspension area 54 is inclined to the horizontal by approximately 45 °.
- the base 56 of the suspension area 54 projects rearward beyond the intersection of the seat surface 64 and the backrest 66.
- the rotating or rolling area of the resilient backrest is thus shifted to the rear.
- the backrest is guided approximately horizontally when springing in the direction of arrow 68 and does not drop, as in known ones.
- a jacket cannot be constrained.
- FIG. 7 shows a piece of seating furniture 70 designed with a suspension area with an ergonomically seated person. Because of the course of the legs of the suspension area parallel to a plane inclined by 45 °, an integrated seating body made of plastic can be molded from a relatively simple injection mold.
- F ig. 8 shows a perspective view of a suspension area 72.
- ed ceremoniessteil walled over the entire width of the seat, the ends of the legs 74 and 76 which are aligned approximately at right angles to each other are split to double-walled zones.
- Ribs 82 can be provided between walls 78 and 80 of the backrest, which contribute to stiffening the end regions of the suspension part.
- Receiving sleeves 84 and 86 are provided on the side surfaces, in which abutting edge brackets of the back cushion can be accommodated.
- the leg area 76 of the suspension area adjoining a seat surface is configured analogously.
- Fig. 9 shows a section through the suspension member 72; from which the walls 78 and 80 with the ribs 82 in between can be seen in the leg region 74.
- An integral seat support 88 can be seen below the leg area 76, which serves to accommodate, for example, a central column.
- FIG. 10 shows an exploded view from the side of a piece of seating furniture with a suspension part 90, a backrest 92, a seat surface 94, a seat support 96 and a central column 98. Receptacles for the backrest and the seat surface are formed on the suspension part 90.
- FIG. 11 shows an exploded view of an embodiment of a piece of seating furniture with a suspension area 100, a backrest 102 which consists of a cushion 106 stretched on a bracket 104 and a seat surface 108 which is constructed from a bracket 110 with a cushion 112 attached to it.
- the ends of the brackets 104 and 110 are inserted into receptacles 114 and 116, respectively.
- the seat surface 108 can also be designed as an integral part with a metal skeleton.
- the 12 shows a suspension area 118, on which a seat surface 120 is integrally formed.
- the single-walled suspension area 118 in the curvature area splits double-walled in the end areas or in a transition area to the seat surface and forms a rigid unit with the seat area.
- receptacles 122 are provided for bumpers of a cushion or for an armrest.
- An integrated receptacle 124 for a central column or for a bench support is provided on the underside of the seat surface or the double-walled section of the spring region. This recording is provided with ribs, for example. which serve to reinforce and unambiguously fix the support frame.
- Receiving grooves 126 are formed laterally on the underside of the seat surface and the double-walled section of the suspension area and serve to receive a tubular frame according to FIG. 5.

Abstract
Description

- Fig. 15 in perspektischer Darstellung ein einstückig materialeinheitlich ausgebildetes Sitzmöbel.
- Fig. 6 zeigt in schematischer Darstellung in Seitenansicht ein Sitzmöbel ohne Traggestell.
- Fig. 8 zeigt in perspektivischer Darstellung einen Federungsbereich 72.
