Description
According to patent 756 692 , a liquid-tight masonry consisting of two layers firmly interlocked with each other is produced, which is used in particular for the construction of tower-like structures used in the chemical industry, such as reaction towers, washing towers and similar building sites, in which gases and liquids flow trickle, is suitable. In such masonry, the liquid density is achieved by the fact that a good pressing of the mortar is brought about even in the vertical stone joints, in which otherwise a full and tight joint filling is not guaranteed with such brackets, which cannot be pressed into the mortar laterally during laying. For this purpose, both the side surfaces of the stones lying between the two wall layers as broken surfaces and the abutment surfaces of the stones are directed obliquely to their bearing surfaces and the stone layers are offset in a manner known per se by half a stone height.
In this masonry design, the obliquely directed butt joints of the individual stone each end on a bearing surface of a stone of the underlying bar. Stone layer, while: the side surfaces of the stones lying between the two wall layers, also as broken surfaces, practically form a joint that extends over the entire height of the building. Liquid that penetrated up to this joint had the possibility of destroying mortar and stone material over a long distance in the stone formation according to patent 756,692 just described.
Therefore, according to the invention, in the masonry according to patent 756692, consisting of two layers firmly hooked together, a horizontal web is arranged approximately in the middle of the height of the individual stone within its dovetail-shaped groove, on which a half-dovetail-shaped lateral approach of two adjacent stones of the respective opposite wall layer rests. With the bearing surfaces of this web, a horizontal interruption of the joint between the two stone layers or shells, which otherwise extends over the entire height of the structure, is created, which prevents liquid that has penetrated into this joint from seeping through over a longer distance.
The inclination of the inner side surfaces of the stones is expediently small chosen so that from the cutting edge of the side surfaces of the stone with, the web The largest possible horizontal support surface up to its stone-flush outer edge remains. This area is greatest when it is almost perpendicular or perpendicular of the side faces. In the latter case, too, the grout is pressed in in the pores of the stone side surfaces still guaranteed, since the web bearing surface and stone side surface is a self-contained area and the Mortar can therefore not evade.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. In the masonry training according to the invention, as shown in Fig. t and 3 show the obliquely directed abutment surfaces 2 and 3 of the clamp block i in each case -staggered on a storage area of one below or above Stone. To such a run-up on horizontal surfaces or an interruption the joint also for the side surfaces between the two stone layers d of the bracket is the horizontal one in the middle of the height of the bracket Web 5 arranged.
je steiler dabei die Neigung der -Seitenflächen .l ist, .desto breiter und damit vorteilhafter ist dic Auflagerfläche des Steges 5.the steeper the slope of the side surfaces .l, the wider and thus the bearing surface of the web 5 is more advantageous.
To: the one created by the thickness of the bridge when laying the stones To compensate for differences in height, as shown in Figs. R to 5, the half-dovetail-shaped ones Lateral approaches of the stone by half a web thickness from the top and bottom of the stone.
