Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Zwei- oder Mehrfarbeneffekten auf mit Nitroanthrachinonen oder Substitutionsprodukten derselben gefärbten Celluloseäthern, -estern oder deren Umwandlungsprodukten Es wurde gefunden, daß mit Nitroanthrachinonen gefärbte Celluloseäther, -ester und deren Umwandlungsprodukte sich auf der Faser ganz oder teilweise durch Reduktionsmittel zu anders gefärbten Reduktionsprodukten reduzieren lassen, wobei sowohl die bekannten Reduktionszwischenprodukte als auch die Endstufen entstehen können. Durch Aufdruck von Reduktionsmitteln ist so die Möglichkeit gegeben, mit einem einzigen Farbstoff Mehrfarbeneffekte zu erzielen. Als Reduktionsmittel eignen sich beispielsweise Natriumhydrosulfit, Natriumformaldehydsulfoxylat und Natriumsulfoxylat mit oder ohne Zusatz von Anthrachinonpaste.
