Abstract
Description
Bei TITAN-Port D handelt es sich um ein neues medizintechnisches Produkt. Es existieren bereits ähnliche Portsysteme zur Injektions- und Infusionsbehandlung von Medikamenten, Flüssigkeiten und Abnahme kleinerer Blutmengen. Diese sind jedoch nicht geeignet zur Gewinnung größerer Blutvolumen in kurzer Zeit z. B. für Blutwäsche. Zur Dialyse verwendet man üblichweise arteriovenöse Shunt-Anlagen (z. B. Cimino- Shunt, implantierbarer Cortex-Shunt u.ä.) sowie ein Kathetersystem, das jedoch wegen Infektionsgefahr nur kurzfristig eingeführt werden darf (3 Wochen). Zur Erreichung einer Langzeitverweildauer (2 Jahre) mit entsprechend häufigen Punktionsmöglichkeiten (ca. 500 mal) sowie Minderung der Infektionsgefahr wurde dieser TITAN-PORT D entwickelt. Dieses Problem wurde durch die im Patentanspruch 1 aufgeführten Merkmale gelöst.TITAN-Port D is a new medical device product.
