Abstract

The system covers one or more exchanges (2) with transmitter and/or receivers, and several extensions (3) also with transmitters and receivers. To the current supply network, (de)couplers for the exchangers and extensions are linked, the latter being in the form of repeaters. The repeaters pref. contain sensors and/or actuators. The transmit and receive ranges of the extensions (3, 3',3'') mutually overlap. At least one extension transmit range so overlaps with the receive range of at least one exchange that there is an overlapping-free region between each extension and the exchange.

Description

The invention relates to a device for data transmission via the power supply network, with one or more control panels with Transmitting and / or receiving devices, with one or more secondary put with transmitters and receivers, and with the Stromver supply network connected coupling / decoupling devices for the Central and the branches.

Dabei hängt die Stärke und Reichweite der Störimpulse wiederum von der Dämpfung für den zugehörigen Frequenzbereich ab.Such devices for data transmission on the Power supply networks are known in various forms, the most common type of transmission using a Carrier frequency in the frequency range around 100 kHz. The Modulation is AM (Amplitude Modulation) or FSK (Frequency Shift Keying). Since that serving as a data channel Power supply network and its design and setup primarily on the transmission of a 50 Hz sine signal and not for Data transmission at higher frequencies is set up extremely difficult to get information at higher frequencies transfer. In particular, the signal attenuation in these Frequencies through the network topology and through the connected Loads determined. The damping changes with the type and number the connected consumers and the operating status this consumer is uninterrupted and unpredictable. In addition, all connected consumers temporarily - z. B. for switching on and off - or permanently, on Interference pulse pattern, which spreads in the power supply network,  produce. The strength and range of the interference pulses depend on this again from the attenuation for the associated frequency range from.

Since all consumers do not switch on and operate to be predicted is a foresighted interpretation of the Power supply network with regard to data transmission not possible. To still have a perfect data transfer via the To ensure power supply network, it is from DE-OS 42 36 310 known among other things, data telegrams in more than one Frequency range to transmit. It is enough for the evaluation at the head office if only one frequency pair is error-free Will be received. In any case, disturbances in the Power supply network, even through manipulation, switched off.

The known device has proven itself, but bumps into with regard to the range of the extensions such as the central units physical limits, especially due to signal attenuation high frequencies.

The invention has for its object a device initially described embodiment so that not only the transmission security, but especially the Range between the control centers and the extensions increased becomes.

The invention solves this problem with a generic one Device for data transmission over the power supply network  in that the extensions are designed as repeaters. - These measures of the invention ensure that now Data transmission through the power grid next to that too possible direct path between the headquarters and the Extensions can still be done indirectly. Because in that the extensions are each designed as repeaters there is the possibility to use these extensions as Use relay stations. For example, a message addressed by an extension to at least one control center and sent. All others in the range are listening Extensions with the broadcast and send to avoid Collisions according to a specified procedure the listened Message from you again. In this way, the head office receives the Ideally, the original transmission of an extension should now be repeated several times, on the one hand, directly from the originally sending Extension, on the other hand indirectly through shipments other extensions. This means that a direct Connection between the originally sending extension and the receiving center is no longer absolutely necessary. Because one sent out from the original extension Data telegram can now be done indirectly, without direct Connection to the control center, to be transmitted to the control center. In any case, the range is between original sending extension and receiving center considerably enlarged. In addition, the repetitions of the Shipment in the intermediate branches disturbed Transmissions can be recognized as such and suppressed.

Further features essential to the invention are as follows listed. So it is provided that the extensions are preferred designed as a repeater with associated sensors and / or actuators are. In this context, the extensions can on the one hand, be designed as a repeater, so take over only the function of relay stations. Incoming shipments from Data telegrams are received and according to a specified Procedure for avoiding collisions sent out again. In addition, there is the possibility that the Have associated sensors and / or actuators, in turn can therefore originally generate programs. When Sensors come in the case of alarm systems, for example Motion detectors, smoke sensors, vibration detectors, broken glass detectors, acoustic sensors, proximity sensors, touch sensors or the like. Among actuators are under the Invention servomotors for closing, for example Ventilation flaps, electrically operated valves for gas or To understand air supply or the like. It is also envisaged that the sending and receiving areas of the extensions are each with each other and the transmission area with at least one extension overlap the reception area of at least one control center in such a way that between each individual extension and the head office there is no overlap area. That way ensures that each extension with the central office either on is directly or indirectly connected. This must be taken into account, however, that the respective broadcast and reception areas depending on the signal attenuation in Power supply network can change. An interpretation of the broadcast and Receiving services from branches such as central units must therefore be in  the way that even at maximum signal attenuation no overlap-free area between each individual extension and which consists of at least one headquarters. In addition, it is intended that the sending and receiving areas of the extensions are each with each other and the reception area of at least one extension overlap with the transmission range of at least one center so that between each individual extension and the head office there is no overlap area. That way you can for example, shipments from the at least one center to a remote extension with which no direct Contact exists, will be transmitted. So there is the Possibility, for example actuators of a remote one Activate extension without a direct connection exists between the central office and the corresponding extension. At last it is envisaged that the transmission and reception areas of the Extensions in turn each other and the receiving and / or transmission area of at least one extension with the transmission and / or reception area overlap at least one control center, that between each individual extension and the central office no there is no overlap area.

There is, of course, within the scope of the invention Possibility that the at least one headquarters have a strong transmitter which reaches all extensions directly while the Extensions only have a small transmission power. On this way, remote extensions with actuators can also be used be addressed directly by the head office, while by the Extension signals sent out only indirectly get to headquarters. Such an approach is available  for example, when a trained as a smoke detector Sensor detects and detects smoke in a remote room from the control center simultaneously all connected with actuators Ventilation flaps of an air conditioning system should be closed.

In the following, the invention is based on only one Exemplary embodiment of the drawing explained in more detail; it demonstrate:

Fig. 2 shows the transmission and reception areas of a center with three extensions.

In the figures, there is a device for data transmission via the power supply network 1 , with a control center 2 with a transmitting and receiving device, with three extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''with transmitting and receiving devices, and with an on / connected to the power supply network 1 Coupling devices 4 for the control center 2 and the extension 3 , shown. The control center 2 has an input / output device 5 , for example a computer with a connected monitor, for monitoring the extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''. In addition to the extension 3 shown in FIG. 1, two further extensions 3 'and 3 ''are provided with coupling / decoupling devices 4 connected to the power supply network 1 . In the embodiment of FIG. 2, a total of three extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''are shown. All extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''are each designed as transmitting and receiving devices. The extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''can be designed as repeaters or as repeaters with associated sensors 6 and / or actuators 7 . The extension 3 shown in FIG. 1 is designed as a repeater with an associated sensor 6 and an actuator 7 . From the results shown in FIG. 2, extension 3, 3 'and 3' ', the extension is formed as a repeater with an associated sensor 6 and actuator 7 3, while the extension 3' as a repeater with sensor 6, and the extension 3 '' only is designed as a repeater. The control center 2 is designed as a transmitting and receiving device, the transmitting and receiving areas of the extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''each being below one another and the receiving and transmitting area of at least one extension - in the exemplary embodiment of the extensions 3 ' and 3 ''- Overlap with the transmission and reception area of the control center 2 so that there is no overlap-free area between each individual extension 3 , 3 ' and 3 '' and the control center 2 . This is shown in particular in FIG. 2, where the overlap regions 8 are each indicated by hatching. It follows that, for example, the extension 3 does not have a direct connection to the control center 2 , but is indirectly connected to the control center 2 via the relay 3 'interposed as a relay station.

In addition, it is indicated in Fig. 2 that the control center 2 can have a very strong transmitter (dashed transmission range), which reaches all extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''directly. In this case, the extensions 3 , 3 'and 3 ''have low transmission powers, while the control center 2, for example, reaches the extension 3 and thus the actuator 7 directly. In this way, extension 3 can be addressed without the extension 3 ″ being interposed as a relay station. This offers z. B. in the event that the extension 3 'with the smoke sensor formed from 6 sensor detects smoke and reports to the control center 2 , which then immediately a flap connected to the actuator 7 closes an air conditioning system at the extension 3 . So all this takes place without smoke has already been detected at the extension 3 .
