Matten hindurch erstrecken und an ihren Enden Halterungen aufweisen, die an den beiden Außenseiten der Drainmatte angeordnet sind und wirksam verhindern, daß die Verbindungselemente aus der Matte gezogen werden können, wobei die Verbindungs­ elemente zwischen den beiden Halterungen eine Länge aufweisen, die zumindest in etwa der Dicke der Drain­ matte entspricht.1.
