Longitudinal adjustment gear, in particular seat adjustment gear in a motor vehicle, with a threaded spindle arranged between two rails which can be displaced longitudinally relative to one another, the ends of which are rotatably guided in bearing blocks which are fixedly connected to the one rail, and with a threaded nut which can be adjusted on the threaded spindle and which is connected to the other rail is connected, characterized in that the bearing blocks ( 21 , 22 ) are held against one rail ( 1 ) by a bow-shaped clamp ( 31 ), the free ends ( 33 ) of which are penetrated ( 34 ) in one rail ( 1 ) protrude and are plastically deformed. 2.
