Abstract

Aber selbst dann, wenn eine bereits zerbrochene Scheibe durch eine neue ersetzt werden muß, ist in aller Regel auch die alte Profilleiste nicht wieder zu verwenden. Sie muß dann ebenfalls durch eine neue ersetzt werden, was zumindest mit Kosten verbunden ist, die man an sich ja lieber vermeiden würde, zumal die Nichtwiederverwendbarkeit der Profil­ leiste nur als Folgeschaden einer so gesehen unvollkommenen Ver­ bindung zwischen Scheibe und Profilleiste anzusehen ist. Zwar gibt es auch lösbare Klebeverbindungen zwischen Scheibe und Profil­ leiste, beispielsweise durch einen in die Kleberaupe eingelegten Heizdraht, der im Bedarfsfalle erwärmt wird und den Kleber auf­ weicht, aber eine derartige Anordnung ist nicht nur aufwendig bei der Herstellung, sie löst auch nicht das Problem einer an­ schließenden Reinigung der Scheibe und/oder der Profilleiste von Kleberresten.Such an arrangement is when installing windshields known in vehicle construction. Zwischen den Abdichtflächen 5, 6 befindet sich eine zur Windschutzscheibe 2 hin offene, kanalartige Aussparung 8, die mittels einer an eine Vakuumpumpe 9 angeschlossenen, die Profilleiste 4 in einem Ventil­ bereich 10 durchsetzenden Kanüle 11 evakuiert worden ist. Als Ventil dient in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel eine hier nur andeu­ tungsweise dargestellte Dichtlippe 12. Eine bessere Abdichtung der Aussparung 8 gegen die freie Umgebung erreicht man durch mehrere nebeneinanderliegende Dichtlippen, die nacheinander wirk­ sam werden und zwischen sich jeweils eine Art Schleusenkammer einschließen.
