An otoplastic for a hearing aid is known (Hearing Aid Journal, July 1981, page 47), in which a first channel is from the listener of the hearing emitted sound conducts into the ear (sound channel) and at the a second channel connects the ear to the outside air manufactures (ventilation duct).
The object of the invention is a hearing aid or an oto to further develop plastic according to the preamble of claim 1, that the exchange of air between the distal and proximal ends of the hearing aid or the otoplastic is variable.
This task is performed according to the in a hearing aid or an otoplastic Preamble of claim 1 by the in the characterizing part of this Characteristics specified solved. The achieved with the invention The advantages in particular are that a sensitive one Position of the cross section of the ventilation duct from the complete closure until almost complete approval is possible. Other benefits include to see that the locking means can be easily assembled or retrofitted, that no special for adjusting the cross section of the ventilation duct tool is required and that the setting on the ear of the Hörbehin can be made. Finally, by any adjustable narrowing of the ventilation duct also a change in Sound transmission characteristics can be achieved.

In Figs. 1 and 2, 10 denotes a which provides a bond Ver from the proximal end of the hearing aid 10 to the distal end 13 of forth in-the-ear hearing aid to be worn, the housing wall 11 includes a vent duct 12. The relatively flat ventilation channel 12 has at the distal end 13 a blocking means 14 with which the cross section of the ventilation channel 12 can be changed as desired. The locking means 14 consists of an elongated locking element 15 with rounded ends and a central shaft 16 which carries a head 17 at its free end. The head 17 contains a slot 18 on its outside. The shaft 16 has a diameter that allows the locking means 14 to be inserted into an incision 20 provided in the distal end 13 of the housing wall 11 .
Die Wirkungsweise des Sperrmittels 14 ist folgende. The operation of the locking means 14 is as follows.
If the locking means 14 is rotated by a screwdriver-shaped tool in a first position A ( FIG. 1), then the locking element 15 closes the ventilation channel 12 completely. The inner ear is then not ventilated. If the locking means 14 is rotated somewhat, cf. second position B in Fig. 1, then there is little ventilation. If the locking means 14 is rotated so far that it assumes a third position offset from position A by 90 °, then there is a maximum air exchange. The locking means 14 is preferably made in one piece from plastic, for example injection molded.
A hearing device 30 shown in FIG. 3, which is to be worn behind the ear, has an hearing bracket 31 , to the free end of which a hearing tube 32 is attached. The other end of the hearing tube is firmly connected to an Otopla stik 33 , which contains a sound channel 34 . The sound channel connects the distal end 35 of the earmold 33 to the proximal end 36 . An aeration channel 37 runs approximately parallel to this. At the distal end 35 of the otoplastic 33 , the ventilation channel 37 merges into an extension 38 , in which a locking means 40 ( FIGS. 4 and 5) is rotatably supported. The locking means 40 contains an eccentric opening 41 , the diameter of which corresponds approximately to the inner diameter of the ventilation channel 37 . The blocking means 40 , which contains a diametrically arranged slot 43 in its front side 42, is secured against falling out of the extension 38, for example by a slight deformation of the outer edge of the extension.
The operation of the locking means 40 according to FIGS. 4 and 5 is as follows.
If the blocking means 40 with its opening 41 is in the position shown in FIG. 5, the opening 41 is coaxial with the ventilation duct 37 . In this position of the locking means, the ventilation channel 37 ( Fig. 3) is completely released. If the locking means 40 is rotated into a position offset by 180 ° by means of a screwdriver-shaped tool, the blade of which is inserted into the slot 43 , cf. Direction of the arrow in Fig. 5, then 41 receives the opening of the blocking means 40, a dashed line in FIG. 5 drawn position a, that is, the ventilation channel 37 is at the distal end by the blocking means 40 from closed, and there is no ventilation instead. Any ventilation cross sections can be realized by intermediate positions of the blocking means 40 .
In Fig. 6 an otoplastic 50 is shown, the extension 51 is shaped such that a locking means 52 shown in Figs. 7 and 8 can be pushed and fixed therein. The locking means 52 has a cup-shaped part 53 which merges into a tubular part 54 which is eccentric thereto. In the cup-shaped part 53 , a cylindrical locking element 55 is rotatably mounted, which is preferably designed in exactly the same way as the locking means 40 in FIGS. 4 and 5. The edge region 56 of the cup-shaped part 53 is bent somewhat inward to the locking element in the cup-shaped part 53 fail to secure against Her. The mode of operation of the locking means 52 or the locking element 55 corresponds to that of the locking means 40 according to FIGS. 4 and 5.
FIG. 9 shows a locking means 60 which differs from the locking means in FIGS. 7 and 8 in that, together with a tubular part 61, it is so long that it extends over the entire length of the ventilation duct 37 in FIG. 3 extends. The ventilation part 60 is cast in during the manufacture of an otoplastic, so that the ventilation channel is formed by the tubular part.
10 and 11, an ear mold 70 is shown which includes a noise and air guide part 71. The sound and air duct part consists of a ventilation part 72 , which has essentially the same structure as the locking means 60 according to FIG. 9, and a formwork pipe 73 connected axially parallel therewith. Ventilation part 72 and Schalleitungsrohr 73 extend over the entire length of the otoplastic 70 and are completed at the proximal end 74 of the otoplastic 70 by a wall 75 and 76 , respectively. During the manufacture of the otoplastic 70 , the sound and air guide part 71 is cast into the otoplastic material. After the otoplastic material has hardened, the walls 75 and 76 are drilled out. The Schalleitungsrohr 73 has at the distal end 77 of the earmold 70 an extension 78 , which forms a recording for a sound tube 79 of a hearing aid to be worn behind the ear. The mode of operation of the ventilation part 72 is the same as for the blocking means 40 according to FIGS. 4 and 5.
