Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Heißgase führenden, doppelwandigen Rohres, insbesondere eines Abgasrohres für Brennkraftmaschinen, bei dem zwischen Innenrohr und Außenrohr eine isolierende Schicht eingebracht wird und das Rohr anschließend in seine Krümmungsab­ schnitte aufweisende Endform gebogen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß vor dem Biegen die isolierende Schicht (16) durch plastisches Aufweiten des Innenrohres (12) und/oder Einziehen des Außenrohres (14) verdichtet wird.1.
