Abstract

Light boxes for showcases (show windows), slide boxes, illuminated signs and the like consist of at least one picture carrier, at least one glass pane covering said picture carrier, at least one luminous element, and are used, for example, as advertising panels or timetable display boards in railway stations. As often only little space is available for this purpose, the outer frame of the light boxes must be kept relatively small (slim). It is therefore common for illuminated light boxes to have a depth of 70 to appr. 200 mm. In order to accommodate an illuminated poster carrier in the outer frame, a space-saving lamp arrangement is therefore needed.
