Abstract

This invention describes a multiple-layer chemisorption filter which can be used to treat breathing air contaminated by acidic, basic or neutral, organic or inorganic substances or dust, bacteria, viruses, mites, pollen, moulds etc. Taking into account the selection of materials and reagents, the individual chemisorption layers alternately have a composition of alkaline pH greater than 12, of acidic pH 0.5-1.5 and neutral, with which, in addition to the pollutant separation, a bactericidal activity is also achieved.

Description

It is known that the air we breathe very often is contaminated with liquid and gaseous pollutants, which cause considerable difficulties in humans Breathing area and allergies.

These can be acidic pollutants such as HF, HCl, SO 3 , SO 2 , NO x etc. or basic reacting pollutants such as ammonia, amines etc. In addition to the inorganic pollutants, the air we breathe can also contain the organic pollutants that endanger humans, such as benzene, dioxins, furans, benzpyrenes, aldehydes, etc. and also tobacco smoke.

All pollutants can be gas or aerosols  additionally together with dust of any kind (possibly also Bacteria, viruses, mites, pollen, fungi etc.) in the Breathing air is available.

To the breathing air from the previously listed pollutants to clean so that sick people can be helped can and healthy people can be protected according to the invention the application a chemisorption filter, which is also used in the The respiratory tract, germs, viruses and fungi kills, holds back and thus has a bactericidal effect, pre beat.
