Abstract
Description
The invention relates to personal identification system according to the preamble of claim 1.
A personal identification system is known as before as a passage control or to control money machine is used. With this system one will code on an identification card via read a reader and with a secret identifier number that the person to be identified by means of a Keyboard inputs, compared. A disadvantage of this system is the lack of a clear assignment of identification card and the person to be identified. So can provide access to an unauthorized person at any time or Unauthorized money from a teller machine cash out if they have the identification card is and the corresponding code knows. This crucial lack of security has too much violent abuse.
The object of the invention is a personal identification to create a system of the type mentioned at the beginning, which a clear assignment of identification card and enables the person to be identified. With help This system is designed to ensure the security of certain processes increases and / or their interference by unauthorized persons can be prevented. Despite this extensive requirement This personal identification system is expected to cost inexpensive and relatively simple to construct.
This object is characterized by in claim 1 Features resolved.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the Subclaims marked.
The invention is explained below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5 of the drawings in their structure, their effect and meaning.

In FIG. 1, 1 denotes the object identifying the person, on which a correspondingly coded characteristic number 2 is applied. The code number is read into a buffer 4 by means of a reading device 3 . An additionally attached identification sensor 5 perceives characteristic features of the person, which are then processed in a signal processing device 6 so that they can be compared in the downstream evaluation device 7 with the directly read in code 2 . If the characteristic numbers match, a switching device 8 is activated by the evaluation device 7 and corresponding switching processes are triggered. As is easy to see, the identification sensor 5 can be based on a wide variety of physical principles. Thus, the identification sensor 5 can detect characteristic structures of the retina of the person to be identified by means of a scanning light beam, or can record characteristic features of acoustic wave fields as a speech sensor. Of particular interest is identification sensors 5 , which serve to record the structures of finger patterns. The signal processing device 6 must be adapted to the identification sensor 5 used in each case, so that after appropriate processing of the received analog signals, a person identifi cation key figure can be determined.
The combination of the direct identification of a person by means of the identification sensor 5 and the downstream signal processing device 6 in conjunction with an identification card 1 has the advantage that the person identification system works independently of external data, which would have to be used to store the characteristic characteristic numbers 2 . Despite the high security value, the person identification system according to the invention is therefore simple in its electronic structure. In particular, this system can therefore also advantageously be used to secure ATMs in bank facilities. Another advantage of this application example is that the users or customers have no code numbers to remember and therefore cannot forget, since the characteristic features are taken directly from the person to be identified.
In Fig. 2, a possible embodiment of the personal identification system for passage monitoring is shown. In this case, the identification sensor 5 has video optics 9 . A CCD sensor is particularly suitable for recording characteristic finger patterns of a finger 10 via the video optics 9 . Identification sensor 5 and reading device 3 are housed, for example, in a common housing, in which the entire evaluation and control devices can also be located. The code 2 , which is located on a personal identification card 11 , is read into the buffer 4 via the reading device 3 , processed in the signal processing device 6 and compared to the downstream evaluation device 7 with the calculated code. There can also be a direct comparison of the characteristic patterns, for example a fingerprint applied directly to the personal identification card 11 with the fingerprint read in via the video optics 9 , for example by means of image field analysis. Via the evaluation device 7 , a door circuit 12 or any lock, for example on a safe, is actuated as shown in FIG. 2, for example.
FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the person identification system with self-focusing video optics 9 . In this case, the person to be identified presses their finger 10 against a holder 13 . The characteristic finger lines are recorded optically by means of the video optics 9 of the identification sensor 5 . The focus of the video optics 9 is automatically based on the shape of the fingertip 22 . The focal length s is therefore always optimally set. The analog signals 15 are stored in a buffer 14 and converted into digital, binary-coded signals 17 in a device 16 by comparison with entered threshold values. The lines 19, the lines of which are several units wide of the image field grid, are transformed in the segmentation device 18 into lines 20 of defined width. Pixels and lines of insufficient width as well as structures such as those caused artificially by injuries are suppressed. The image 21 created in this way is converted in a coding device 23 into a characteristic code number, which in this example identifies the finger lines. In the evaluation device 7 , the key figure determined in this way is compared with the key figure 2 , which is located on the object 1 identifying the person. The characteristic number 2 is read into the buffer 4 via the reading device 3 . The desired switching operations are triggered by a switching device 8 .
Of course, it is also conceivable and possible to compare the transformed image 21 directly, ie without first determining a key figure, with a corresponding image that connects on the object identifying the person, and to trigger corresponding processes.
In Fig. 4, a basic structure of an identification sensor 5 is shown, consisting of an optical scanning device 25 , which detects the line structures of a finger 10 via an interrogation light beam 24 , through the glass plate 26 . This takes advantage of the fact that, depending on the line structure of the finger 10, the optical properties, such as the reflectivity of the surface of the finger, changes and thus is reflected in an analog signal pattern, which is read into a buffer 4 and subsequently processed.
