Description
Die Erfindung betrifft neue kosmetische oder pharmazeutische
Zubereitungen bzw. Mittel, die in wäßriger oder wasserfreier
Form vorliegen und als Fettprodukt mindestens einen oligomeren
Polyäther entweder allein oder im Gemisch mit anderen Fettpro
dukten, wie z. B. Ölen, Fetten oder Wachsen, enthalten.
Natürliche oder synthetische Öle stellen eine sehr wichtige
Klasse von Substanzen dar, die in einer großen Vielzahl von
kosmetischen oder pharmazeutischen Zubereitungen bzw. Mitteln
als Vehiculum oder Lösungsmittel (Träger/Exzipient) enthalten
sind.
Im allgemeinen werden die Öle in diesen Zubereitungen nicht
allein, sondern im Gemisch mit anderen Ölen oder Fettprodukten,
wie z. B. Fetten, Wachsen, verwendet, wobei die Mengenanteile
dieser Fettkörper eine Funktion sowohl der Konsistenz als auch
der Eigenschaften, die erzielt werden sollen, sind.
Bis heute wurden nur wenige Öle vorgeschlagen, die für die For
mulierung sowohl von kosmetischen Zubereitungen (Mitteln) als
auch von pharmazeutischen Zubereitungen (Mitteln) verwendet
werden können.
Abgesehen von einigen natürlichen oder synthetischen Ölen, darun
ter das Vaselineöl, ist bis heute keine Klasse von Substanzen
bekannt, welche die Gesamtheit von Kriterien aufweisen, die er
forderlich sind, um sowohl gute Vehicula als auch gute Fettlö
sungsmittel (Fettexcipienten) darzustellen, die in der Kosmetik
oder in der Pharmazie verwendbar sind.
Auf dem Gebiet der Kosmetik müssen sich die Öle leicht verteilen
und auf der Haut einen hydrophoben Film mit einem nicht-fettigen
und nicht-klebrigen Aussehen zurücklassen; sie müssen auch
weichmachende Eigenschaften aufweisen, d. h. geschmeidigmachende,
gleitfähigmachende und Nähreigenschaften besitzen, um die Weich
heit der Haut aufrechtzuerhalten und sie gegen atmosphärische
Angriffe zu schützen.
Auf dem Gebiet der Pharmazie sind die besonders erwünschten Ei
genschaften der Öle ihr hohes Lösungsvermögen für verschiedene
aktive Substanzen sowie ihre Stabilität und ihre stabilisierende
Wirkung auf diese Substanzen gegenüber Wärme, Licht und dem Sau
erstoff der Luft.
Diese zuletzt genannten Eigenschaften können auch ein Vorteil
in der Kosmetik sein, wenn die Zubereitungen (Mittel) bestimmte
für die Haut vorteilhafte Substanzen oder andere Substanzen ent
halten, die als Bestandteile dieser Zubereitungen (Mittel) die
nen, wie z. B. Parfüms, Färbemittel, Pigmente, Konservierungsmit
tel und dgl.
Es wurde bereits festgestellt, daß diese Eigenschaften erhalten
werden können durch Verwendung einer bestimmten Klasse von
oligomeren Polyäthern, die bei Umgebungstemperatur flüssig
sind und mit Wasser nicht mischbar sind.
Diese Polyäther, von denen bestimmte bereits bekannt sind,
können aufgrund ihrer ausgezeichneten Eigenschaften sowohl auf
dem kosmetischen Gebiet als auch auf dem pharmazeutischen Ge
biet verwendet werden, ohne die Nachteile der bisher verwende
ten Verbindungen, wie z. B. ein fettiges Anfühlen und ein gerin
ges Lösungsvermögen, zu besitzen.
Eine besonders vorteilhafte Eigenschaft dieser oligomeren Poly
äther beruht darauf, daß sie auf der Haut einen matten, sich
nicht fettig anfühlenden Film zurücklassen, der eine geschmeidig
machende und schützende Wirkung hat.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist als ein neues technisches Produkt
eine wäßrige oder wasserfreie kosmetische oder pharmazeutische
Zubereitung (Mittel), die (das) als Fettprodukt mindestens ei
nen bei Umgebungstemperatur flüssigen und in Wasser unlösli
chen oligomeren Polyäther der allgemeinen Formel enthält:
worin bedeuten:
R einen linearen oder verzweigten Alkylrest mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄, die gleich oder verschieden sind, ein Was serstoffatom oder einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlen stoffatomen, wobei mindestens zwei der Reste R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄ ein Wasserstoffatom darstellen,
m eine Zahl von 1 bis 4 und
n eine Zahl mit einem mittleren Wert 2, der vorzugsweise zwischen 4 und 50 liegt,
R einen linearen oder verzweigten Alkylrest mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄, die gleich oder verschieden sind, ein Was serstoffatom oder einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlen stoffatomen, wobei mindestens zwei der Reste R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄ ein Wasserstoffatom darstellen,
m eine Zahl von 1 bis 4 und
n eine Zahl mit einem mittleren Wert 2, der vorzugsweise zwischen 4 und 50 liegt,
wobei die Anzahl der Kohlenstoffatome in jeder wiederkehrenden
Einheit, die identisch oder verschieden ist, mindestens 4 beträgt.
In den oligomeren Polyäthern der Formel (I) bedeutet der Rest R
vorzugsweise einen Methyl-, Ethyl-, Butyl-, Hexyl- oder Lauryl
rest.
Das zahlendurchschnittliche Molekulargewicht dieser Verbin
dungen liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 200 und 5000 und ihre
Viskosität, gemessen bei 25°C, liegt im allgemeinen zwischen
2 und 1000, vorzugsweise zwischen 10 und 100 Centipoise (cP).
Zu den für die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Zubereitun
gen (Mittel) bevorzugt verwendeten oligomeren Polyäthern
der Formel (I) gehören insbesondere diejenigen, in denen der
Rest R einen Methyl-, Ethyl- oder Butylrest, die Reste R₁
bis R₄ ein Wasserstoffatom und m die Zahl 2 bedeuten.
Eine besonders bevorzugte Verbindung, die sowohl auf dem
kosmetischen als auch auf dem pharmazeutischen Gebiet ausge
zeichnete Ergebnisse liefert, ist der Dimethyläther von Poly
tetrahydrofuran der Formel
in der n eine Zahl mit einem mittleren Wert zwischen 4 und
10 ist.
Die oligomeren Polyäther der Formel (I) weisen eine gute
Kompatibilität (Verträglichkeit) mit zahlreichen Fettkör
pern auf, bei denen es sich um mineralische Öle, pflanzli
che Öle, tierische Öle oder synthetische Öle handelt. Sie
sind darüber hinaus in einer großen Anzahl von üblichen or
ganischen Lösungsmitteln, wie sie allgemein in kosmetischen
oder pharmazeutischen Zubereitungen (Mittel) verwendet wer
den, löslich.
Es wurde insbesondere festgestellt, daß die oligomeren Po
lyäther der Formel (I) in der US-PS 43 35 046 die flüchti
gen Siloxane, wie z. B. das Hexamethyldisiloxan, das Octa
methylcyclotetrasiloxan und das Decamethylcyclopentasiloxan,
mit Vorteil ersetzen können, um die kosmetischen Eigenschaf
ten der als "feste Fraktionen" bezeichneten Fraktionen von
Vaseline, d. h. von Fraktionen, die kein flüssiges Vaseline
oder höchstens 20 Gew.-% enthalten, zu verbessern.
Gegenüber der US-PS 43 55 046 rufen Mischungen aus festen
Fraktionen von Vaseline und oligomeren Polyäthern der Formel
(I) keinen klebrigmachenden Effekt beim Auftragen hervor und
sie führen zu guten kosmetischen Eigenschaften, die denjeni
gen von Vaseline selbst sehr nahe kommen, ohne jedoch deren
Nachteile, d. h. hauptsächlich ihre reizende Wirkung auf die
Haut, zu besitzen.
Wie oben angegeben, sind bestimmte der oligomeren Polyäther
bekannt, nachstehend werden jedoch bestimmte nähere Angaben
in bezug auf Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung gemacht.
Das vorteilhafteste Verfahren besteht darin, sie aus cycli
schen Ätheroxiden herzustellen durch eine kationische Poly
merisation oder Copolymerisation in Gegenwart eines Ortho
ameisensäureesters und eines Polymerisationskatalysators.
Zu Beispielen für zyklische Polyäther, die zu oligomeren
Polyäthern der Formel (I) führen können, in der m=1, ge
hören 2-Methyloxethan, 3-Methyloxethan, 2,3-Dimethyloxethan,
3,3-Dimethyloxethan und 3-Butyl-3-ethyloxethan.
Zu den zyklischen Äthern, die zu oligomeren Polyäthern der
Formel (I) führen können, in der m=2, gehören Tetrahydro
furan, 2-Methyltetrahydrofuran, 3-Methyltetrahydrofuran und
2-Ethyltetrahydrofuran.
Zu den zyklischen Äthern, die zu oligomeren Polyäthern der
Formel (I) führen können, in der m=4, gehören Oxepan sowie
seine substituierten Derivate.
Wie aus der allgemeinen Formel (I) für die oligomeren Poly
äther hervorgeht, können die wiederkehrenden Einheiten iden
tisch oder voneinander verschieden sein und im letzteren Falle
handelt es sich dabei insbesondere um Copolymere.
Während nämlich der größte Teil der obengenannten zyklischen
Äther homopolymerisieren kann, können bestimmte unter ihnen
nur copolymerisieren und dazu gehört beispielsweise das 2-
Methyltetrahydrofuran.
In diesem Falle wird das 2-Methyltetrahydrofuran beispiels
weise mit Tetrahydrofuran copolymerisiert, was erklärt, daß
die wiederkehrenden Einheiten der oligomeren Polyäther für
die gleiche Verbindung unterschiedliche Strukturen haben
können.
Der Orthoameisensäureester erlaubt die Durchführung einer
Übertragungsreaktion, mit der die Molekulargewichte begrenzt
werden können und endständige Ätherfunktionen erhalten wer
den können.
Zu Beispielen für geeignete Orthoameisensäureester gehö
ren Methylorthoformiat, Ethylorthoformiat, Isopropylortho
formiat, Butylorthoformiat und dgl.
Die Menge des Orthoameisensäureesters in der Polymerisations
reaktion ist variabel und hängt ab von dem Molekulargewicht
des gesuchten oligomeren Polyäthers, sie liegt jedoch im all
gemeinen zwischen 5 und 500%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des
zyklischen Ausgangs-Ätheroxids.
Bei dem Polymerisationskatalysator kann es sich um irgendeinen
der kationischen Polymerisationskatalysatoren, wie z. B. der
Bortrifluoridätherate, der BF₃-Epichlorhydrin-, SnCl₄-Epichlor
hydrin-, AlEt₃-H₂O-Epichlorhydrin-Komplexe, der Triethyloxonium
salze, wie Et₃O⁺BF₄-, Et₃O⁺SbCl₆-, Et₃O⁺PF₆-, der p-Chlorophe
nyldiazoniumsalze, wie p-ClC₆H₄N₂PF₆, sowie die Trifluoromethan
sulfonsäure und ihre Derivate, wie z. B. ihr Anhydrid und ihre
Ester, handeln.
Die Menge des Katalysators liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 1 und
5%, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der eingesetzten Reagentien.
Die Temperatur und Dauer der Polymerisation sind variabel ent
sprechend der Natur des zyklischen Ausgangs-Äthers.
Im Falle von Tetrahydrofuran wird die Polymerisationsreaktion
im allgemeinen bei Umgebungstemperatur innerhalb eines Zeit
raums zwischen 4 und 10 h durchgeführt.
Nach der Desaktivierung des Katalysators und nach der Elimi
nierung der flüchtigen Produkte kann der erhaltene oligomere
Polyäther unter Anwendung verschiedener konventioneller Be
handlungen, beispielsweise durch Behandlung mit Aktivkohle,
gereinigt werden.
Die oligomeren Polyäther können auch nach anderen Verfahren
hergestellt werden, wobei man beispielsweise von einem Oligo
meren in Form des Diols oder des Dihalogenids ausgeht und
anschließend die endständigen Ätherfunktionen unter Anwen
dung konventioneller Methoden bildet.
In den erfindungsgemäßen Zubereitungen bzw. Mitteln kann der
oligomere Polyäther der Formel (I) in variablen Mengenver
hältnissen vorliegen, wobei seine Konzentration eine Funkti
on der Natur der Zubereitung bzw. des Mittels ist, sie liegt
jedoch im allgemeinen zwischen 0,5 und 99 Gew.-%, vorzugs
weise zwischen 5 und 50 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gesamtge
wicht der Zubereitung (des Mittels).
Der oligomere Polyäther kann allein oder im Gemisch mit an
deren Fettsubstanzen, wie z. B. pflanzlichen Ölen oder tie
rischen Ölen, mineralischen Ölen oder auch synthetischen
Ölen, verwendet werden und die Fettphase von verschiedenen
kosmetischen oder pharmazeutischen Zubereitungen (Mitteln)
darstellen.
Darüber hinaus kann die Fettphase auch einen bestimmten Men
genanteil Wachs oder Fett enthalten.
Zu geeigneten pflanzlichen oder tierischen Ölen, die modifi
ziert sind oder nicht, gehören beispielsweise süßes Mandel
öl, Avokadoöl, Rizinusöl, Olivenöl, Jojobaöl, Palmöl, Perhydro
squalen, Calophyllöl, Lanolin und seine Derivate, Purcellin
öl, Weintraubenkernöl, Sesamöl und Sojaöl.
Zu geeigneten synthetischen Ölen gehören Ester, wie z. B.
Ethyl- und Isopropylpalmitat, Alkylmyristate, wie Isopropyl-,
Butyl- und Cetylmyristat, Hexylstearat, Triglyceride der
Octan- und Decansäure (z. B. das unter der Bezeichnung "Mi
glyol 812" von der Firma Soci´t´ Dynamit Nobel vertriebene
Produkt), Cetylrizinoleat, Stearyloctanoat, hydriertes Poly
isobuten und Siliconöle, die in anderen Ölen löslich sind,
wie z. B. Dimethylpolysiloxan oder Methylphenylpolysiloxan.
Zu geeigneten mineralischen Ölen gehört das Vaselineöl.
Zu geeigneten Wachsen gehören Carnaubawachs, Bienenwachs,
Ozokerit, Candelillawachs, Montanwachs und mikrokristalline
Wachse.
Diese Öle und Wachse, deren Verwendung nicht nur in der
Kosmetik, sondern auch in der Pharmazie geläufig ist, kön
nen Substanzen darstellen, welche die Fettphasen oder Ölpha
sen verschiedener Produkte bilden können.
Die Fettphase der erfindungsgemäßen Zubereitungen macht 3
bis 99 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 8 bis 90 Gew.-%, des Gesamtge
wichts der Zubereitung aus.
Zu geeigneten kosmetischen Zubereitungen (Mitteln) gehören
insbesondere diejenigen, die in Form von fließfähigen Emul
sionen vorliegen (Milche) oder in dickeren Konsistenzen vor
liegen (Cremes), die in Form von Lotionen, Lösungen oder
Suspensionen, wasserfreien Balsamen, Stiften, Gels und dgl.
vorliegen.
Diese Zubereitungen (Mittel) können beispielsweise sein
Milche oder Cremes für die Pflege des Gesichts, des Körpers
oder der Hände, Masken, Cremes oder Abschminkmilche,
Schminkprodukte, Sonnenschutzmilche, -öle oder -cremes,
Milche oder Cremes für die künstliche Bräunung, Milche oder
Cremes gegen Transpiration, Rasier- oder Waschcremes oder
-schäume, Produkte für die Behandlung von Haaren, wie z. B.
Shampoos, Spülmittel, Lotionen vor oder nach dem Schamponie
ren, Färbezubereitungen, Entfärbungszubereitungen und dgl.
Wenn die Zubereitungen (Mittel) in Form von Cremes oder Mil
chen vorliegen, handelt es sich dabei insbesondere um Emul
sionen vom Wasser-in-Öl-Typ oder vom Öl-in-Wasser-Typ, bei
denen die Fettphase 4 bis 60 Gew.-%, die Wasserphase 30 bis
90 Gew.-% und das Emulgiermittel 1 bis 20 Gew.-%, vorzugswei
se 2 bis 12 Gew.-%, ausmachen.
Unter den Emulgiermitteln können insbesondere genannt wer
den:
- - die Polyoxyethylen- oder Polyglycerin-fettalkohole, die oxyethylenierten oder nicht-oxyethylenierten Alkylsulfate, die Mischungen aus mindestens einem Lanolat, wie z. B. den Lanolaten von Magnesium, Calcium, Lithium, Zink oder Alumi nium, und hydriertem Lanolin und/oder Lanolinalkohol, die Ester von Fettsäuren und Polyolen, wie z. B. Glycerin oder Propylenglykol,
- - die Monoester von Fettsäuren und Sorbitan, die polyoxyethyleniert sind, wie z. B. das von der Firma ATLAS unter der Bezeichnung "Tween" vertriebene Produkt.
Die Zubereitungen bzw. Mittel können auch andere konventio
nelle Bestandteile (Ingredientien) enthalten, wie z. B. Ein
dickungsmittel oder Gelierungsmittel, wie z. B.:
- - Silicate von Magnesium und Aluminium,
- - Methylvinyläther/Maleinsäureanhydrid-Copolymere, wie z. B. die unter der Bezeichnung "Viscofas X 100000" oder "Viscofas L. 100" von der Firma ICI vertriebenen Produkte, die gegebenen falls neutralisiert sind,
- - oder Carboxyvinylpolymere, wie z. B. die unter der Be zeichnung "Carbopol" von der Firma GOODRICH vertriebenen Produkte,
- - oder auch Alkylpolyglutamate, wie z. B. diejenigen, wie sie inder US-PS 32 85 953 beschrieben sind.
Die kosmetischen Zubereitungen (Mittel) können ebenfalls
verschiedene Bestandteile (Ingredientien) enthalten, ins
besondere Färbemittel, Parfüms, Konservierungsmittel, UV-
Filter, Pigmente, Glanzbildner, mineralische oder organi
sche Füllstoffe, aktive Produkte, oberflächenaktive Mittel,
Lösungsmittel oder Sequestriermittel.
Zu geeigneten aktiven Produkten gehören die Antiakne-Sub
stanzen und die antiseborrhoischen Substanzen, wie z. B.
Broparoestrol, Benzoylperoxid, 13-cis-Retinoylsäure und
Tioxolon; die Hydratisierungsmittel, wie z. B. Diethylen
glykolmonoethyläther, Lanolin, Magnesiumlanolat, 3-Thio
morpholinon und seine Derivate, Milchsäure; und die Vitamine,
wie z. B. die Vitamine A, C, D2 und E.
Bei den pharmazeutischen Zubereitungen (Mitteln) handelt
es sich beispielsweise um Cremes, Salben, Pomaden und all
gemein um Zubereitungen bzw. Mittel für die topische Verab
reichung, deren Lösungsmittel einen Fettkörper enthält.
Die oligomeren Polyäther der Formel (I) stellen nämlich aus
gezeichnete Lösungsmittel für sehr zahlreiche aktive Sub
stanzen dar aufgrund ihres besonders hohen Lösungsvermögens.
Zu geeigneten aktiven Substanzen mit therapeutischer Wir
kung gehören beispielsweise:
die antiinflammatorischen Mittel, wie z. B. 18β-Glycyrrhe tinsäure, Hydrocortison, Hydrocortisonacetat, Hydrocorti sonbutyrat, Hydrocortison-6-butylacetat, Dexamethason und seine Essigsäure- und t-Butylessigsäureester, Acetylsalicyl säure, Flufenaminsäure und Indomethacin.
die antiinflammatorischen Mittel, wie z. B. 18β-Glycyrrhe tinsäure, Hydrocortison, Hydrocortisonacetat, Hydrocorti sonbutyrat, Hydrocortison-6-butylacetat, Dexamethason und seine Essigsäure- und t-Butylessigsäureester, Acetylsalicyl säure, Flufenaminsäure und Indomethacin.
Indomethacin, kombiniert mit oligomeren Polyestern der Formel
(I) und vorliegend in einer Konzentration von 0,5 bis 5%,
erlaubt die Herstellung von Zubereitungen (Mitteln) in Form
von Pomaden, Gelen oder Cremes, die sehr wirksam sind für
die Behandlung von Dermatosen auf topischem Wege.
- - Antibiotika, wie z. B. Tetracyclin, Erythromycin und andere Macrolide oder auch Neomycin;
- - Antiseptica, wie z. B. 2,4,4′-Trichloro-2′-hydroxy-diphenyl äther, bekannt unter dem Handelsnamen "IRGASAN DP 300", Hexachlorophen, Jod und dgl.;
- - Keratolytica, wie z. B. Salicylsäure, Resorcin und dgl.;
- - Antifungimittel, wie z. B. Griseofulvin, Tolnaphthat;
- - Antipsoriasismittel, wie z. B. Anthralin, sein Dimeres und seine Derivate.
Obgleich die erfindungsgemäßen Zubereitungen bzw. Mittel
eine gute Stabilität mit dem Ablauf der Zeit aufweisen, kann
diese noch weiter verbessert werden durch Zugabe bestimmter
Antioxidationsmittel, wie z. B. von Butylhydroxyanisol (BHA)
oder Butylhydroxytoluol (BHT) oder einer Mischung dieser Sub
stanzen in einem Mengenanteil von etwa 0,002 bis 0,2% Anti
oxidationsmittel, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Zuberei
tung. Die Erfindung wird nachstehend an Hand mehrerer Beispie
le zur Herstellung der oligomeren Polyäther der Formel (I)
sowie mehrerer Beispiele für kosmetische und pharmazeutische
Zubereitungen auf der Basis dieser Verbindungen näher erläutert,
ohne jedoch darauf beschränkt zu sein.
In einen mit einem Rührer, einem Rückflußkühler, einem Thermo
meter und einem Stickstoffeinleitungsrohr ausgestatteten
20-l-Reaktor werden 5,32 kg destilliertes Tetrahydrofuran und
5,8 kg ebenfalls destilliertes Methylorthoformiat (ent
sprechend 109%, bezogen auf Tetrahydrofuran) eingeführt.
Die Mischung wird dann unter Stickstoff gerührt und auf
13°C abgekühlt.
Anschließend gibt man 120 ml Trifluoromethansulfonsäurean
hydrid zu, um die Polymerisation zu initiieren. Nach 4 h
bei 18 bis 20°C wird der Katalysator mit 120 g rei
nem Soda, gelöst in 600 ml permutiertem Wasser, desakti
viert. Die flüchtigen Produkte werden anschließend unter Va
kuum bei 80°C verjagt. Danach führt man nach dem Abkühlen
6 l destilliertes Cyclohexan und 120 g Aktivkohlepulver ein.
Man rührt 1 h lang, dann filtriert man die Mischung, wobei
man den Niederschlag mit destilliertem Cyclohexan spült.
Das Filtrat wird anschließend unter Vakuum bei 50°C und dann
bei 80°C und schließlich bei 100°C gerührt, um das Lösungs
mittel sowie die flüchtigen Polyätherfraktionen zu entfernen.
Auf diese Weise erhält man 3,75 kg einer öligen und farblosen
Verbindung. Die Elementaranalyse, das Infrarotspektrum und
das RMN-Spektrum bestätigen, daß es sich dabei um eine Ver
bindung der Formel handelt:
deren zahlendurchschnittliches Molekulargewicht, bestimmt
durch Tonometrie, 410±20 beträgt, was einem Wert von n in
der Größenordnung von 5 entspricht.
Das erhaltene Öl weist eine dynamische Viskosität bei 25°C
von 22 cP auf und erstarrt bei -1°C. Es ist in üblichen or
ganischen Lösungsmitteln, z. B. in Alkohol, Aceton, Benzol,
Hexan, Chloroform, löslich und in Wasser unlöslich.
Dieses Öl ist in allen Mengenverhältnissen mit Vaselineöl,
Avocadoöl und Perhydrosqualen mischbar.
Die Polymerisation wird unter den gleichen Bedingungen wie
in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt, wobei man diesmal jedoch von 4,34 kg
Tetrahydrofuran, 3,87 kg Methylorthoformiat (entsprechend
89%, bezogen auf Tetrahydrofuran) und 89 ml Trifluoromethan
sulfonsäureanhydrid ausgeht. Man desaktiviert den Katalysa
tor mit dem gleichen Mengenanteil Soda und das Produkt wird
auf die gleiche Weise gereinigt durch Filtrieren in Gegen
wart von Aktivkohle, dann unter Vakuum getrocknet. Auf diese
Weise erhält man 2,76 kg einer farblosen öligen Verbindung,
welche die gleiche Struktur wie die Verbindung des Beispiels
1 hat. Ihre dynamische Viskosität bei 25°C beträgt 34 cP und
ihr Erstarrungspunkt beträgt +2°C (Mittelwert von n≃5).
Die Polymerisation wird ebenfalls nach dem gleichen Verfah
ren wie in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt, wobei man diesmal jedoch
von 5,32 kg Tetrahydrofuran, 3,86 kg Methylorthoformiat
(entsprechend 72,5%, bezogen auf das Tetrahydrofuran) aus
geht. Die Reaktion wird mit 100 ml Trifluoromethansulfonsäu
reanhydrid katalysiert. Nach 4stündiger Reaktion wird der
Katalysator mit 100 g Soda desaktiviert. Nach der Behandlung
mit Aktivkohle und der anschließenden Trocknung erhält man
3,49 kg der erwarteten farblosen öligen Verbindung mit einer
dynamischen Viskosität bei 25°C von 40 cP, deren Erstarrungs
punkt +3°C beträgt (Mittelwert für n≃5).
In einen 2-l-Reaktor führt man 576,5 g Tetrahydrofuran,
338,5 g Methylorthoformiat (entsprechend 58,7%, bezogen
auf Tetrahydrofuran) und 10 ml Trifluoromethansulfonsäure
anhydrid, um die Polymerisationsreaktion zu initiieren, ein.
Nach 4stündiger Reaktion wird der Katalysator mit 15 g
Soda desaktiviert. Nach einer ersten Trocknung unter Vakuum
nimmt man in 500 ml destilliertem Cyclohexan wieder auf und
filtriert auf einem Tonerde-Bett (Celite 545). Nach dem Ver
daampfen des Cyclohexans wird das Produkt unter Vakuum bei
80°C und dann bei 130°C getrocknet. Auf diese Weise erhält
man 390 g einer farblosen viskosen Flüssigkeit mit der glei
chen chemischen Struktur wie die in den vorausgegangenen
Beispielen erhaltenen Verbindungen. Ihre dynamische Visko
sität bei 25°C beträgt 91 cP und ihr Erstarrungspunkt liegt
bei +11°C (Mittelwert für n≃6 bis 7).
In einen mit einem Thermometer, einem Stickstoffeinleitungs
rohr und einer Trennwand ausgestatteten 250-ml-3-Hals-Kolben
führt man 43,8 g Tetrahydrofuran, 10,7 g 2-Methyl-tetrahydro
furan und 3,2 g Methylorthoformiat (entsprechend 5,8%, bezo
gen auf die Monomeren) ein.
Man bringt unter Stickstoff auf 0°C und führt 1,1 g Trifluoro
methansulfonsäureanhydrid mittels einer Spritze ein. Nach
6stündigem Rühren bei 0°C desaktiviert man mit 2 g pulver
förmigem Natriummethanolat. Man verdampft die flüchtigen
Verbindungen unter Vakuum, nimmt dann den Rückstand in 50 ml
Cyclohexan wieder auf. Anschließend filtriert man das un
lösliche Material ab und verjagt das Lösungsmittel unter
Vakuum. Man beendet die Trocknung bei 80°C unter Vakuum
1 h lang. Auf diese Weise erhält man 17,7 g einer öligen
Verbindung, die eine dynamische Viskosität bei 25°C von
164 cP und einen Erstarrungspunkt von +7 bis 8°C aufweist.
Die IR-Spektralanalyse und die RMN-Analyse zeigen die Anwe
senheit von Einheiten, die aus der Polymerisation von 2-Me
thyl-tetrahydrofuran stammen, in der Kette an. Das Verhältnis
zwischen den von 2-Methyl-tetrahydrofuran abgeleiteten Ein
heiten und den von Tetrahydrofuran abgeleiteten Einheiten
beträgt nach der RMN-Analyse 5,7 : 94,3 (Mittelwert für n≃10).
Man arbeitet wie im obigen Beispiel 5, wobei man diesmal je
doch 40,4 g Methylorthoformiat (entsprechend 74%, bezogen
auf das Gesamtgewicht der Monomeren) einführt. Nach der Des
aktivierung und Behandlung wie in diesem Beispiel gewinnt
man 29,1 g fließfähiges Oligomeres mit einer dynamischen Vis
kosität bei 25°C von 9,7 cP und einem Erstarrungspunkt von
-15°C.
Das Verhältnis zwischen den von 2-Methyl-tetrahydrofuran
stammenden Einheiten und den von Tetrahydrofuran stammenden
Einheiten beträgt nach der RMN-Analyse 6,6 : 93,4 und der Mit
telwert für n beträgt etwa 3,2.
In einen mit einem Stickstoffeinleitungsrohr, einem Thermome
ter und einer Trennwand ausgestatteten 250-ml-3-Hals-Kolben
führt man 50 g Tetrahydrofuran und 100 g Butylorthoformiat
(200%, bezogen auf das Monomere) ein. Man bringt auf 25°C
und führt 2 ml Trifluoromethansulfonsäureanhydrid mittels ei
ner Spritze ein. Man rührt 5 h lang bei 25°C, dann desaktiviert
man mit 3 g pulverförmigem Natriummethanolat. Man verjagt
die flüchtigen Verbindungen bei 80°C unter 1 bis 2 mm Hg,
dann gibt man 100 ml Hexan zu, filtriert das unlösliche Ma
terial ab und verdampft das Lösungsmittel unter Vakuum.
Nach 2stündigem Trocknen bei 90°C bei 1 bis 2 mm Hg erhält
man 20 g einer klaren gelben öligen Verbindung. Die RMN-
Analyse bestätigt die erwartete Struktur des Polyäthers mit
einem mittleren Wert für n von 5,4.
Das erhaltene Öl weist eine dynamische Viskosität bei 25°C
von 15 cP auf und erstarrt zwischen -8°C und -10°C.
In ein 25-ml-Reaktionsrohr, das mit einem Stickstoffeinlei
tungsrohr und einer Trennwand ausgestattet ist, führt man
7,4 g 2-Methyl-oxethan (Kp./760 mm=60-61°C), hergestellt
durch Zyklisieren von 1,3-Butandiol, ein. Man gibt 5,1 g
Methylorthoformiat (entsprechend 68,9%, bezogen auf das
Monomere) zu.
Man kühlt die Mischung auf +5°C in einem Eisbad ab, dann
führt man mittels einer Spritze 0,5 ml Bortrifluoridätherat
ein. Nach dem Rühren hält man das Reaktionsrohr in dem Eisbad
6 h lang. Man desaktiviert mit 2 g pulverförmigem Natrium
methanolat und nimmt in 15 ml Hexan wieder auf.
Man filtriert das unlösliche Material ab, verjagt die flüch
tigen Bestandteile unter Vakuum und beendet die Trocknung bei
80°C/1 bis 2 mm Hg. Auf diese Weise erhält man 7,4 g des er
warteten Oligomeren (die Struktur wurde durch IR- und RMN-Spektrum
bestätigt). Der Polyäther ist flüssig, farblos, in Wasser un
löslich und weist eine dynamische Viskosität von 115 cP auf;
er bleibt bis zu einer Temperatur von -35°C flüssig.
In einem 2-l-3-Hals-Kolben mit darauf montiertem Kühler
und einer Bromampulle löst man 99,5 g (0,5 M) 4,4′-Dichloro
dibutyläther in 1,5 l wasserfreiem Methanol. Anschließend
gibt man langsam 108,04 g (2M) Natriummethylat zu. Nach
Beendigung der Zugabe wird die heterogene Suspension unter
Rühren 48 h lang zum Rückfluß des Methanols gebracht.
Nach dem Abkühlen filtriert man, dann wäscht man den Nieder
schlag mit Methanol. Nach dem Einengen der Filtrate auf 1/10
filtriert man erneut, dann gießt man die Methanollösung in
500 ml einer Wasser/Eis-Mischung. Man extrahiert mit Methy
lenchlorid, trocknet dann mit wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat.
Nach dem Verdampfen des Methylenchlorids erhält man 84,3 g
eines Öls (Ausbeute 88,8%). Die Destillation bei 79 bis 80°C
führt zu 61,6 g des erwarteten Produkts (Ausbeute 64,9%).
Die Struktur des 4,4′-Dimethoxy-dibutyläthers wurde bestätigt
durch

In einen 2-l-Reaktor führt man 352 g Isoamylalkohol, 320 g
einer 50%igen wäßrigen Sodalösung und 81,5 g Tetrabutyl
ammoniumhydrogensulfat ein. Man bringt die Mischung unter
Rühren auf 70°C und führt innerhalb von 3 h 199 g
4,4′-Dichlorodibutyläther ein.
Man bringt anschließend auf 90°C und hält noch 2 h lang bei
dieser Temperatur. Man kühlt auf 20°C ab, wäscht mehrere Ma
le mit Wasser, trocknet die organische Phase über wasser
freiem Natriumsulfat. Anschließend führt man eine fraktionier
te Destillation durch. Auf diese Weise erhält man 136,8 g
einer bei 116 bis 118°C unter 0,3 mm Hg siedenden Fraktion,
die dem erwarteten Produkt entspricht (die Struktur wurde
durch RMN¹³C, Massenspektrum, Elementaranalyse und IR-Spek
trum verifiziert). Die Verbindung liegt in Form einer farb
losen, in Wasser unlöslichen Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität
von 5,7 cP vor und ihr Erstarrungspunkt liegt unter -60°C.
Man arbeitet auf die gleiche Weise wie in Beispiel 10, wo
bei man diesmal jedoch den Isoamylalkohol durch 408 g 1-
Hexanol ersetzt. Die fraktionierte Destillation führt zu 273 g
einer bei 146 bis 148°C/0,5 mm Hg siedenden Fraktion. Das
Massenspektrum, das RMN¹³C-Spektrum, die Elementaranalyse
und das IR-Spektrum bestätigen die erwartete Struktur.
Das Produkt hat das Aussehen eines farblosen, in Wasser
unlöslichen Öls mit einer Viskosität von 6,9 cP und erstarrt
bei -9,5°C.
In einen 2-l-Reaktor führt man 390 g 1-Octanol und 480 g
einer 50%igen wäßrigen Sodalösung ein. Man gibt 61 g Tetra
butylammoniumhydrogensulfat zu und bringt die Mischung un
ter Rühren auf 65°C. Innerhalb von 3 h führt man 199 g
4,4′-Dichloro-dibutyläther ein, dann hält man 2 h lang noch
bei 65°C. Man wäscht mit Wasser, trocknet die organische
Phase über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat und führt dann eine
fraktionierte Destillation unter Vakuum durch. Man erhält
193 g einer bei 180°C/0,2 mm Hg siedenden Fraktion, die der
erwarteten Verbindung entspricht (die Struktur und die Rein
heit wurden durch Massenspektrum, RMN¹³C-Spektrum, Elementar
analyse und IR-Spektrum bestätigt). Bei dem Produkt handelt
es sich um eine in Wasser unlösliche farblose Flüssigkeit
mit einer Viskosität von 11 cP, die bei 8,6°C erstarrt.
Man arbeitet auf die gleiche Weise wie in Beispiel 10, wobei
man diesmal jedoch den Isoamylalkohol durch 520 g 2-Ethyl
1-hexanol ersetzt. Nach der Behandlung führt die fraktionier
te Destillation zu 116 g einer bei 150°C/0,2 mm Hg siedenden
Fraktion. Das Massenspektrum, das RMN¹³C-Spektrum, die Elemen
taranalyse und das IR-Spektrum bestätigen die erwartete Struk
tur. Die Verbindung hat das Aussehen einer in Wasser unlösli
chen farblosen Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität von 10 cP.

Claims (12)
1. Wäßrige oder wasserfreie kosmetische oder pharmazeuti
sche Zubereitung (Mittel), dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß sie als Fettprodukt mindestens einen bei Umgebungstemperatur
flüssigen und in Wasser unlöslichen oligomeren Polyäther der
allgemeinen Formel enthält
worin bedeuten:
R einen linearen oder verzweigten Alkylrest mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄, die gleich oder verschieden sind, ein Was serstoffatom oder einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlen stoffatomen, wobei mindestens zwei der Reste R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄ ein Wasserstoffatom darstellen,
m eine Zahl von 1 bis 4 und
n eine Zahl mit einem mittleren Wert 2, der vorzugs weise zwischen 4 und 50 liegt,
wobei die Anzahl der Kohlenstoffatome in jeder wiederkehrenden Einheit, die identisch oder verschieden ist, mindestens 4 beträgt.
R einen linearen oder verzweigten Alkylrest mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄, die gleich oder verschieden sind, ein Was serstoffatom oder einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 6 Kohlen stoffatomen, wobei mindestens zwei der Reste R₁, R₂, R₃ und R₄ ein Wasserstoffatom darstellen,
m eine Zahl von 1 bis 4 und
n eine Zahl mit einem mittleren Wert 2, der vorzugs weise zwischen 4 und 50 liegt,
wobei die Anzahl der Kohlenstoffatome in jeder wiederkehrenden Einheit, die identisch oder verschieden ist, mindestens 4 beträgt.
2. Zubereitung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
in dem oligomeren Polyäther der Formel (I) der Rest R einen
Methyl-, Ethyl-, Butyl-, Hexyl- oder Laurylrest bedeutet.
3. Zubereitung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch ge
kennzeichnet, daß das zahlendurchschnittliche Molekulargewicht
des oligomeren Polyäthers zwischen 200 und 5000 liegt und daß
seine Viskosität bei 25°C zwischen 2 und 1000 Centipoise (cP)
liegt.
4. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da
durch gekennzeichnet, daß in dem oligomeren Polyäther der Formel
(I) der Rest R einen Methyl-, Ethyl- oder Butylrest, die Reste
R₁ bis R₄ ein Wasserstoffatom und m die Zahl 2 bedeuten.
5. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da
durch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich bei dem oligomeren Polyäther
um den Dimethyläther von Polytetrahydrofuran der Formel handelt:
worin n eine Zahl mit einem mittleren Wert zwischen 4 und 10
bedeutet.
6. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da
durch gekennzeichnet, daß der oligomere Polyäther in einer Kon
zentration zwischen 0,5 und 99 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise zwischen 5
und 50 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Zubereitung,
vorliegt.
7. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da
durch gekennzeichnet, daß der oligomere Polyäther der Formel
(I) entweder allein oder im Gemisch mit mindestens einem Öl, ei
nem Fett oder einem Wachs, das die Fettphase der Zubereitung
darstellt, vorliegt.
8. Zubereitung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Fettphase 4 bis 99 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 8 bis 90 Gew.-% des
Gesamtgewichts der Zubereitung ausmacht.
9. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da
durch gekennzeichnet, daß sie in Form einer Emulsion vom Wasser-
in-Öl-Typ oder vom Öl-in-Wasser-Typ vorliegt, daß die Fettphase
4 bis 60 Gew.-% ausmacht, daß die Wasserphase 30 bis 90 Gew.-%
ausmacht und daß das Emulgiermittel 1 bis 20 Gew.-%, vorzugs
weise 2 bis 12 Gew.-%, ausmacht.
10. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da
durch gekennzeichnet, daß sie mindestens einen üblichen kosmeti
schen Bestandteil, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der Färbemittel,
der Parfüms, der Konservierungsmitttel, der UV-Filter, der
Pigmente, der Glanzbildner, der mineralischen oder organischen
Füllstoffe, der aktiven Produkte, der oberflächenaktiven
Mittel, der Lösungsmittel und der Sequestriermittel, enthält.
11. Zubereitung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß sie mindestens eine therapeutisch aktive
Substanz, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der antiinflammatorischen
Mittel, der antibiotischen Mittel, der antiseptischen Mittel,
der keratolytischen Mittel, der Antifungimittel und der Anti
psoriasismittel, enthält.
12. Zubereitung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie außerdem Antioxidationsmittel,
wie z. B. Butylhydroxyanisol oder Butylhydroxytoluol oder eine
Mischung dieser Substanzen in einer Menge von 0,002 bis 0,2%,
bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Zubereitung, enthält.
