Absorptionsverband, bestehend aus einer wundseitig angeordneten, saugfähigen Einlage, einer an der der Wunde abgewandten Seite angeordneten Lage aus flüssigkeitshemmendem oder flüssigkeitsabstoßendem Material, sowie einer zwischen letzterer und der hydrophilen Lage angeordneten Schicht, wobei das gesamte Paket mit einem Vliesstoffblatt oder einer perforierten Kunststoff-Folie umhüllt ist, das an der wundabgewandten Seite des Verbandes gegebenenfalls mittels eines Siegelfadens verschweißt bzw. verklebt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Lage (4) aus flüssigkeitshemmendem oder flüssigkeitsabstoßendem Material wannenförmig ausgebildet, ferner zwischen der Vliesstoff- oder Folienumhüllung (6) und der saugfähigen Einlage (2) zumindest eine Lage Tissue (1) angeordnet ist, daß die saugfähige Einlage (2) aus Verbandwatte besteht, weiters die Zwischenschicht (3) aus mehreren Lagen Verbandzellstoff zusammengesetzt ist, und daß schließlich die Umhüllung (6) aus flüssigkeitsdurchlässigem, auch im Autoklaven sterilisierbarem Vliesstoff aus einer Kombination von Zellwollfasern und synthetischen Fasern, oder einer perforierten Kunststoff-Folie, vorzugsweise aus Polypropylen, welche die gleichen Eigenschaften aufweist bzw, den gleichen Anforderungen gerecht wird, wie oben angeführte Vliesstoffe, besteht.
