Abstract

Soap with a pearly lustre comprises a non transparent soda based soap with 75 to 85 wt.% fatty acid content, 1-2 wt.% pearl lustre pigment opt mixed with pref. powdered mica or mica and TiO2. 0.5-2 wt.% pref. 1 wt.% polyglycol ether, 0.5-2 wt.% pref. 0.5 wt.% polyglycol ester 2-5 wt.% superfat e.g. anoline and perfume additives. In preparation the soap mixture is extruded in a perforated plate extrusion press.
