Description
The invention relates to a method for contacting a Outer conductor of a coaxial cable, the outer conductor encased by an insulating jacket and to an interior is delimited by an insulating layer, as well as a Device for this.
For contacting an electrical-encased electrical It is usually necessary to lead the leader to the leader Connect separately with corresponding connection elements to strip beforehand. To save this work process is provided in DE-PS 30 23 809 on the Insulated-coated conductors with the conductor Directional pinned contact washer under curvature to put on the washer and through the feathering formed through with their end faces then leveling the disc through the To press conductor insulation through against the conductor. This happens by means of a plug that is between two itself spreading tongues of a sleeve is inserted. Becomes however, with this device a train on the conductor exercised, the plug can be removed from its holder slide. Furthermore, this method is not for that Contact a coaxial cable suitable because there is also the Inner conductor must be contacted.
US 37 44 007 shows a method for contacting a Outer conductor of a coaxial cable, the outer conductor encased in an insulating sheath and into one Inner conductor is delimited by an insulating layer, wherein on the coat with a sleeve-shaped connector an axial bore and a front recess and one Washer with open and from the axial bore the flag is pushed away and the end of the Coaxial cable in a hole in a nut is used. The nut is in the Connector and the flags of the washer in pressed in the coat.
Dabei werden Fahnen einer in der Vorrichtung befindlichen Ringscheibe unter Eindringen in den Mantel des Koaxialkabels gedrückt und in Richtung des Kontaktstiftes zurückgebogen.DE 94 05 994 U1 describes a method for contacting an outer conductor of a coaxial cable, in which inserted the end of the coaxial cable into a device is, with a tip of a contact pin in the Inner conductor of the coaxial cable penetrates and one Clamping nut of the device is tightened. In doing so Flags of an annular disc in the device pressed into the sheath of the coaxial cable and bent back towards the contact pin.
Ein Verfahren der o. g. Art ist in der US 57 75 934 A beschrieben. A method of the above Art is in US 57 75 934 A. described. This is done on the sheath of the coaxial cable a union nut with an axial bore on one forehead-like recess pushed open and the end of the Coaxial cable in a bore of a sleeve section used. A tip of a contact pin penetrates the Inner conductor. The union nut is on the Screwed on sleeve section and penetration contact of the Sleeve section are in the jacket for contacting the Outer conductor pressed in.
The present invention is based on the object Method and device of the above Kind of develop where a coaxial cable without any additional Tool is connected so that it Not applying relatively high forces from the facility can be removed.
To solve this problem, that leads to a coat Union nut with one axial bore and one Forehead recess and an annular disc with bent and flags directed away from the axial bore and the end of the coaxial cable in a bore of one Sleeve section is used, a tip of a Contact pin penetrates the inner conductor and the Screwed onto the sleeve section and the flags of the washer between a bottom of the Front recess and a ring edge of the sleeve section be pressed flat into the jacket.
This creates an absolutely safe definition of Coaxial cable in the device, only by loosening the screw connection between the union nut and the Sleeve section can be resolved. Even if yourself this screw connection loosens, but can not Pull the union nut off the coaxial cable because the coaxial cable with the washer in the union nut hangs. This has the advantage that, for example, the union nut can be set anywhere, whereby is achieved that the coaxial cable at this point remains.
In practice it has been shown that an annular disc very high tensile forces even with a small thickness endures before the flags give way to a train. This is because especially because the flags are mostly between the bottom of a front recess in the union nut and a screwed ring edge of the sleeve section are pinched so that to loosen the coaxial cable this Flags tend to break off or have to be sheared off.
In order for the flags to penetrate the outer jacket appropriately, they should be on an inner chamfer of the sleeve section be led. In this way the insertion of the flags or penetration into the outer jacket improved.
Furthermore, it can be advisable in one embodiment prove if the contact pin is spring-loaded. This gives it when inserting the coaxial cable into the Bore the sleeve section slightly so that a minor return path of the coaxial cable can be bridged can, if the coaxial cable is pressed when facing the flags something is withdrawn again.
Usually there is a spring back of the contact pin not necessary, because when the flags are pressed into the Sheath the end of the coaxial cable pushed forward and is compressed. If the flags are pressed flat, turn them around a radius on the bevel, taking the upsetting again will be annulled. With thick cables, however, it is possible to that there is little or no compression. Then a springback of the contact pin is safer.
So that the contacting is improved, the free Edges of the flags prefer a curvature that is approximately corresponds to the curvature of the outer conductor. If so Flags penetrate the conductor and onto the outer conductor hit, there is a flat contact, so that the spreading losses are kept as low as possible.

As shown in FIG. 1, a nut 2 is fitted onto a coaxial cable 1, the coaxial cable 1 passes through an axial bore 3 in the union nut 2.
The coaxial cable 1 consists of an insulating outer jacket 4 , an outer conductor 5 , an insulation layer 6 and an inner conductor 7 .
After the axial bore 3, the union nut 2 has an end recess 8 which has an annular bottom 9 . The wall of the front recess 8 is formed by an internal thread 10 .
In Gebrauchslage sticht diese Spitze 17 in den Innenleiter 7 des Koaxialkabels 1.With this internal thread 10 , the union nut 2 is screwed onto an external thread 11 of a sleeve section 12 . This sleeve section 12 is part of a connector 13 , which establishes the connection with a further coaxial cable, another electronic or electrical device. This connector 13 has a sleeve jacket 14 , in which an insulation block 15 is inserted. A contact pin 16 penetrates the insulation block 15 , a tip 17 of the contact pin 16 projecting into a bore 18 in the sleeve section 12 . In the position of use, this tip 17 sticks into the inner conductor 7 of the coaxial cable 1 .
The insulation block 15 does not have to be fixed, it can also be spring-mounted in the sleeve bore 19 . For example, a snap ring could be inserted behind the insulation block 15 in the sleeve bore 19 , between which and the insulation block 15 a spring is supported.
Between the base 9 in the union nut 2 and an annular edge 20 of the sleeve section 12 there is an annular disk 21 , which is shown in more detail in FIG. 4. It has an outer ring 22 from which lugs 23 project radially inwards. These flags 23 leave recesses 24 open between them, which taper towards a free edge 25 of the flags 23 , but widen towards the outer ring 22 . This has the effect that the sheath 4 for absorbing axial forces is only partially penetrated, but at the same time an almost annularly closed contacting of the outer conductor 5 is ensured. The edge 25 of the flag 23 is preferably curved, the curvature being based on the curvature of the outer conductor 5 .
Die Funktionsweise der vorliegenden Erfindung wird anhand
der Fig. 1 bis 3 näher geschildert:
Auf ein zu kontaktierendes Koaxialkabel 1 wird eine
Überwurfmutter 2 aufgeschoben, wobei die Stirnausnehmung 8
zum Kabelende hin offen ist. Ebenfalls auf das Koaxialkabel
1 wird eine Ringscheibe 21 aufgeschoben, deren Fahnen sich
beim Aufschieben aufbiegen oder bereits vorher aufgebogen
sind. Die Fahnen 23 gleiten auf der Aussenfläche des
Mantels 4 des Koaxialkabels 1 entlang. The mode of operation of the present invention is described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3:
A union nut 2 is pushed onto a coaxial cable 1 to be contacted, the end recess 8 being open towards the cable end. An annular disc 21 is also slid onto the coaxial cable 1 , the flags of which bend up when they are slid on or are already bent up beforehand. The flags 23 slide along the outer surface of the jacket 4 of the coaxial cable 1 .
Now a connector 13 is placed on the end of the coaxial cable 1 , the tip 17 penetrating into the inner conductor 7 . The end of the coaxial cable 1 then strikes the insulation block 15 . If this is spring-loaded, the insulation block 15 withdraws to a desired stop. Instead of a spring bearing, for example, a compressible elastomer material or the like can also be provided, the only thing that is important is that the tip 17 can shrink a slight amount in order if the coaxial cable 1 shrinks a little during assembly against its insertion direction when the flags 23 penetrate to be able to follow its end.
The union nut 2 is screwed with its internal thread 10 onto the external thread 11 of the sleeve section 12 , at the same time the washer 21 against the ring edge 20 of the sleeve section. 12 is taken. There, the flags 23 preferably meet a chamfer 26 on the inner edge of the ring edge 20 , so that the flags 23 slide off this chamfer 26 and now penetrate into the jacket 4 , as shown in FIG. 2.
Now, as shown in FIG. 3, the union nut 2 is completely screwed onto the sleeve section 12 until the outer ring 22 and the lugs 23 of the ring disk 21 are located between the bottom 9 of the union nut 2 and the ring edge 20 of the sleeve section 12 . In this end position, the flags are pressed flat and have penetrated the outer jacket 4 and contacted the outer conductor 5 . Since their edges 25 are curved, they press flat on the outer conductor 5 and thus form a very good contact, which minimizes wastage. Optionally, the flags 23 can be made so long that they slightly press the outer conductor 5 into the insulation layer 6 . The outer conductor, which is designed as a wire mesh, can yield to such pressing in without loss of contact.
