Abstract

The method involves connecting at least two competitors via a speech input and output arrangement and via a video camera and screen. The competitors are logged into the Internet in a space set up for the purpose and are made visible on the appropriate screens. Competition conditions can be specified before the competition using the speech input/output arrangements.

Description

The invention relates to a method for the individual design of virtual sports compete with the help of a telecommunications network. The procedural sol solution enables the realization of various types of competition, such as cycling, Weight training and others.

Sports competitions are currently only possible on site. that is, the participants must go to the competition site. Virtual games are known in which multiple players can act together over a telecommunications network. This also includes Chess competitions. In the known virtual game world, the opponents are z. B. as shown in a different color.

The aim of the invention is to create a method for the competition participants be made visible in a virtual sports competition, and the participants themselves can compare with each other and against each other, so that the participants not only are more dependent on their own willpower to complete tough training phases solvate.

The invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawing. A fitness machine (treadmill, rowing bench, exercise bike ...) receives a screen, a video camera, a voice input / output device and a connection to the Internet. These devices can be set up at home, in a club sports hall or in fitness centers be put. There is no longer any spatial restriction due to the internet connection, d. that is, the competitions can be spread worldwide.

If the exerciser does not want to do his sport alone, he switches the screen and a connection to a virtual space on the Internet is established. In In this virtual room you will find all the competition participants who are currently logged in against athletes of this sport. The boundary conditions are set using voice input discussed a competition between the participants, e.g. B. which route when  Bicycle race should be chosen. The area around the route is in a zen central server stored on the Internet and makes the competition appear realistic. The Video recordings of the competitors are shown in this environment, and the respective sporting achievements are evaluated and from this the current one Position in the field of athletes determined. If the athlete wears a helmet screen, so the head movement is detected, and if he turns backwards, this too View appear on the screen. In addition, e.g. B. Pulse and blood pressure be recorded in order to enable an intensive evaluation later and if necessary about determine loads immediately.
