A disadvantage of the known communication device is al However, that it is a specifically for the aforementioned Purpose developed product is what with corresponding Ko most connected and also a separate telecommunications approval required.
In addition, a similar communication device is knows that from Nokia under the name "Nokia Te lematics Unit "is also offered a cellular part that is combined with a GPS system and is intended for installation in a motor vehicle.
Another communication device of a similar type is from ADAC is offered under the name "Telematics Service Kit". Here, a GSM cell phone with an installation set in the motor vehicle installed and via its interface with a GPS module and a control device combined to press an ent button automatically sends an emergency call to a control center to be able to set the position data of the Vehicle are transmitted.
While the aforementioned system from Nokia already one Disadvantage of the high cost mentioned above, since it is is a custom-made product is what is offered by ADAC System by using a commercially available cell phone rela tiv inexpensive, but only for operation in one power suitable for the vehicle, as an additional control unit, a GPS Antenna and an operating module are required.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a communica tion device for transmitting position data of a groove to improve zers according to the type mentioned in such a way that there is a solution that is as cost-effective as possible hend is manufacturer-independent and such a compact structure enables operation as with a cell phone. This task is performed in accordance with a communication device of the type mentioned in that the Positionsbe mood module with the accumulator to a common building unit is coupled, which is releasably connected to the mobile radio part and is electrically coupled to it via its interface pelt is.
The object of the invention is completely ge in this way solves.

Another advantage of the invention is that none electrical or mechanical changes to the cellphone part not are agile. Because the electrical properties of cellular the common unit can not be changed anyone who subsequently connected without permission the. This leads to a considerable reduction in costs over conventional custom-made systems, for each one separate telecommunications authorization is required.
In a preferred development of the invention, the position determination module a GPS receiver with GPS antenna.
In principle, it would also be possible instead of a GPS Exploit module terrestrial data for position determination, however, this would be significantly more complex and would be used limit the range of the communication device considerably.
The assembly preferably comprises a plug which is at Befe Construction unit on the mobile radio part simultaneously with the Interface of the mobile radio part is coupled.
This results in a simple and reliable Ver binding between the unit and the mobile part.

Through this known variant of the GPS method, at which calculates the signals sent by the satellites the location of a known location can be used and the target / actual deviations via a transmitter as correction data can be broadcast, the accuracy of the position determ tion can be increased to a few meters, at the same time the partly intentionally fed in for military reasons Faults can be corrected. Thus, the accuracy the position determination can be improved such that distant locations an extremely accurate position sent to a monitoring station can, so that z. B. the position of a mountain in need increasers can be transmitted precisely to even under initiate a rescue operation in poor visibility conditions can.

In Fig. 4, the basic structure of a Kommunikationssy stems using the device 10 according to the invention is shown schematically, but of course no scale representation has been chosen. The communication device 10 with the GPS receiver 28 is located at a location on the surface of the earth and is in communication with four satellites 42 , 44 , 46 , 48 , as indicated by the communication lines 50 , 52 , 54 , 56 . To determine the position for the first time, four satellites are required at the same time if the time is not known. If the time is known, three satellites are sufficient. In order to achieve an increase in the accuracy of the position determination, the communication device 10 is also in communication connection with a DGPS transmitter 40 , as indicated by the number 58 . The DGPS transmitter receives the signals from satellites 42 , 44 , 46 , 48 and compares them with the calculated position data for a known fixed point. The deviations between the actual position and the target position are emitted as correction data and can be used to correct the information immediately recorded by satellites 42 to 48 (which is partly faulty for military reasons), in order to improve the accuracy of the position determination . The communication device 10 is also connected to a relay station 62 of a digital mobile radio network (GSM network), as indicated by the number 60 . The relay station 62 is in turn either directly or via further network nodes of the mobile radio network with a monitoring station 66 in communication connection, as indicated by the number 64 . The monitoring station 66 can be, for example, a call center, an automatic monitoring station or the like.
When the communication device 10 is activated, error-corrected position data 68 can thus be automatically transmitted to the monitoring device 66 via the position of the user of the communication device 10 .
If the user of the communication device 10 wants to trigger an emergency call, he places the communication device 10 on the front side, for. B. on a table or on the floor. Now the two adjacent emergency call buttons 20 , of which only one is shown in FIG. 1, must be pressed together to activate the automatic emergency call function. It can be indicated, for example, by a rhythmic tone signal and the corresponding flashing of the LEDs 32 that the emergency call has been activated. As long as the activation signal continues (e.g. 10 seconds), the alarm can be aborted (e.g. in the event of a false alarm) by pressing one of the emergency call buttons 20 again. Were If the emergency call but not aborted, star, the GPS receiver 28 automatically tet the position determination and begins immediately after the position data 68 are positioned accepted and even if necessary by means of the power consumed by the DGPS transmitter 40 correction signals corrected, the positi onsdaten as to send prepared SMS to the monitoring station 66 . The monitoring station 66 (e.g. a call center) can then, if necessary, make a call on its own to contact the user or take other prepared steps.
If the system costs are to be reduced, then of course you can the correction of the position data according to the DGPS method to be waived.
A particular advantage of the communication device 10 according to the invention is that a conventional mobile radio part 12 can be used, which can only be converted into the communication device 10 according to the invention by replacing its accumulator 18 'with the unit 14 , without requiring any special knowledge. A further advantage is that the existing device approval of the mobile radio part is sufficient for the operation of the communication device, since no changes are made to the mobile radio part and the communication is carried out completely via the interface 24 of the mobile radio part 10 .
